Abstract

A garment may comprise a first portion and a second portion. The second portion may facilitate attachment of the garment to a member. The first portion may be wrapped or looped around a limb, wrist, ankle, foot, or the like. The second portion may be open ended and cylindrical in shape, and may be attached to the first portion. The second portion may be positioned around a member to be wrapped. Positioning the second portion to the member may secure the second portion to the member and thus secure the end of the first portion to which the second portion is attached. Upon positioning the second portion to the member, the first portion of the garment may be attached to the member. The garment may be attached to the member with only a single hand. The second portion may comprise an opening in the first portion.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed:

         1 . A garment comprising:
an elastic first portion; and a second portion attached to the first portion, the second portion comprising an elastic perimeter forming a cavity within which a member is placed for facilitating attachment of the garment to the member.

         2 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein:
the elasticity of the perimeter of the second member facilitates securing of the second portion around the member.

3 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein attaching the garment to the member comprises:
securing the second portion around a location of the member; and wrapping the first portion around the member.

4 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a fastener positioned on the first portion approximate to a first end of the first portion that is opposite a second end of the first portion, the second portion being attached to the second end, wherein, upon attachment of the garment to the member, the fastener secures the garment to the member.

5 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first fastener positioned on the first portion approximate to a first end of the first portion that is opposite a second end of the first portion, the second portion being attached to the second end; a second fastener positioned on the first portion between the first fastener and the second end, wherein, upon attachment of the garment to the member, the first fastener attaches to the second fastener to facilitate securing the garment to the member.

         6 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein:
the second portion comprises a cavity within the first portion; and the perimeter of the second portion comprises the first portion.

         7 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein:
the garment comprises a first end and a second end opposite the first end; the second portion is formed by folding the second end toward the first end and attaching the second end to the garment to form a folded portion; and the folded portion comprises the perimeter and the cavity of the second portion.

8 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
an elastic loop attached to the second portion, wherein the loop facilitates attachment of the garment to the member.

9 . The garment of claim 8 , wherein the loop is configured for insertion of a finger.

10 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein the member is a body part.

11 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein the member comprises one of an arm, a leg, a wrist, a hand, a finger, a forearm, a foot, a toe, a shoulder, a torso, a prosthetic, a body part of an inanimate body, or a head.

         12 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein:
attachment of the garment around the member is accomplished with one hand.

         13 . A method comprising:
inserting a member into a cavity of a second portion of a garment, the garment comprising:
 an elastic first portion; and
 the second portion attached to the first portion, the second portion comprising an elastic perimeter forming the cavity within which the member is placed for facilitating attachment of the garment to the member;
securing the second portion around a location on the member; and wrapping the first potion around the member.

         14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein:
attachment of the garment around the member is accomplished with one hand.

15 . The method of claim 13 , the garment further comprising:
a fastener positioned on the first portion approximate to a first end of the first portion that is opposite a second end of the first portion, the second portion being attached to the second end, wherein, upon attachment of the garment to the member, the fastener secures the garment to the member.

16 . The method of claim 13 , the garment further comprising:
a first fastener positioned on the first portion approximate to a first end of the first portion that is opposite a second end of the first portion, the second portion being attached to the second end; a second fastener position on the first portion between the first fastener and the second end, wherein, upon attachment of the garment to the member, the first fastener attaches to the second fastener to facilitate securing the garment to the member.

         17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein:
the second portion comprises a cavity within the first portion; and the perimeter of the second portion comprises the first portion.

         18 . The method of claim 13 , wherein:
the garment comprises a first end and a second end opposite the first end; the second portion is formed by folding the second end toward the first end and attaching the second end to the garment to form a folded portion; and the folded portion comprises the perimeter and the cavity of the second portion.

19 . The method of claim 13 , the garment further comprising:
an elastic loop attached to the second portion, wherein the loop facilitates attachment of the garment to the member.
