Abstract

A computer implemented method of creating, displaying, and interfacing an infinite navigable media wall includes identifying available media from storage accessible by the computer, generating a logical set of media from the available media, generating the infinite navigable media wall by placing graphical representations of media in the logical set of media on a display of the computer, and displaying the infinite navigable media wall on the display of the computer.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A computer implemented method comprising:
identifying available media from storage accessible by the computer; generating a logical set of media from the available media; generating a wall consisting of a tiled pattern of graphic files corresponding to media in the logical set of media; displaying at least a portion of the wall that fills a viewable portion of a display of the computer; and changing the at least portion of the wall displayed based on a user gesture.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising sorting the available media according to a preference.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising filtering the available media according to a preference.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein reported metrics are used to suggest similar media available for purchase based on the reported metrics.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the available media is limited to media identified from internal storage and supplemented by media from external storage and/or remote storage according to a preference.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the available media comprises media from remote storage provided by a third-party based on the user's location.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the available media comprises media from remote storage provided in a language corresponding to the user's location.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the available media comprises media from remote storage provided by a third-party in close proximity to the user's location.

9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the logical set of media comprises advertisements of related media of interest to the user.

10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the viewable portion of the display of the computer comprises a viewable portion of a software application on the display of the computer.

11 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising software instructions that, when executed by a processor, performs a method comprising:
identifying available media from storage accessible by a computer. generating a logical set of media from the available media; generating a wall consisting of a tiled pattern of graphic files corresponding to media in the logical set of media; displaying at least a portion of the wall that fills a viewable portion of a display of the computer; and changing the at least portion of the wall displayed based on a user gesture.

12 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , further comprising sorting the available media according to a preference.

13 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , further comprising filtering the available media according to a preference.

14 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein reported metrics are used to suggest similar media available for purchase based on the reported metrics.

15 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the available media is limited to media identified from internal storage and supplemented by media from external storage and/or remote storage according to a preference.

16 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the available media comprises media from remote storage provided by a third-party based on the user's location.

17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the available media comprises media from remote storage provided in a language corresponding to the user's location.

18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the available media comprises media from remote storage provided by a third-party in close proximity to the user's location.

19 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the logical set of media comprises advertisements of related media of interest to the user.

20 . The computer-readable medium of claim 11 , wherein the viewable portion of the display of the computer comprises a viewable portion of a software application on the display of the computer.
