Abstract
Disclosed are systems and methods to transfer a document. The systems and methods provide techniques to provide a secure system coupled to a network, relate a transaction identifier to a transaction, allow a third party access to the secure system to transfer an electronic copy of the document to the secure system and to associate the electronic copy of the document with the transaction identifier, and receive the electronic document file from the third party on the secure system. The transaction may relate to an insurance or financial transaction.

determine that a document is required from the third party to process a transaction; provide the third part access to a secure system in order to transfer an electronic version of the document; receive the electronic version of the document from the third party; associating a transaction identifier with the electronic version of the document; use the transaction identifier to identify transaction; and use the electronic version of the document to process the transaction.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the transaction is an insurance claim for an insured customer.

8 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising computer-readable instructions, said computer-readable instructions comprising instructions to:
determine that a document is required from the third party to process a transaction; provide the third party access to a secure system in order to transfer an electronic version of the document; receive the electronic version of the document from the third party wherein the third party associates a transaction identifier with the electronic version of the document, and wherein the transaction identifier identifies the insurance claim; use the transaction identifier to identify the insurance claim; and use the document to process the insurance claim.
9 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the transaction is an insurance claim for an insured customer.

determining that a document is required from the third party to process a transaction; providing the third party access to a secure system in order to transfer an electronic version of the document; receiving the electronic version of the document from the third party, wherein the third party associates a transaction identifier with the electronic version of the document, and wherein the transaction identifier identifies the insurance claim; using the transaction identifier to identify the insurance claim; and using the document to process the insurance claim.
