Abstract
The present invention is comprised generally of (i) a main body pouch comprising a front side and back side permanently joined along the right and left perimeter of the front and back side; a top boundary of the front and back side forming an open periphery; and a top boundary of the front and back side forming a closed periphery; (ii) a belt body with terminal ends; (iii) at least one fastening device to secure the belt body to the top boundary of the main body such that the belt body is attachable and detachable from the main body; and (iv) at least one fastening device to secure the belt body around a user's waist such that the handbag is transformable to a beltbag by securing the belt body around a user's waist.

1 . A reversibly transformable handbag comprising:
(i) a main body pouch comprising
a. a front side and back side permanently joined along the right and left perimeter of the front and back side;
b. a top boundary of the front and back side forming an open periphery; and
c. a top boundary of the front and back side forming a closed periphery;
(ii) a belt body with terminal ends; (iii) at least one fastening device to secure the belt body to the top boundary of the main body such that the belt body is attachable and detachable from the main body; and (iv) at least one fastening device to secure the belt body around a user's waist wherein the handbag is transformable to a beltbag by securing the belt body around a user's waist.
2 . The handbag of claim 1 further comprising detachable straps or handles removably attachable along the top boundary of the main body.
3 . The handbag of claim 2 further comprising a compartment on the main body to store said straps or handles when not attached to the main body.
4 . The handbag of claim 1 further comprising detachably removable ornamental pieces and outer and inner surfaces on the front and back sides wherein the detachable removable ornamental piece may be attached and detached to the outer surface of the front and back side.
5 . The handbag of claim 1 wherein the fastening device to secure the belt body to the top boundary of the main body is selected from the group comprising spring loaded rings, snap-hook clips, clasps, or any other spring loaded devices capable to change the style of the bag with little effort by the user.
6 . The handbag of claim 1 wherein the fastening device to secure the belt at its terminal ends is selected from the group comprising belt buckles, snaps, buttons, Velcro, tie-ons or combinations thereof

The handbag of claim 1 wherein the belt body is comprised of materials selected from the group comprising fleece, wool, flannel, boucle, canvas, silk, twill, corduroy, satin, silk, rayon, velvet, crushed velvet, damask, denim, tweed, faux fur, faux leather, faux suede, leather, suede, jacquard, jersey, metallic, pique, quilted, seersucker, tapestry, PVC or combinations thereof.
8 . The handbag of claims 1 wherein the style of the belt body is selected from the group comprising fashion waist belts, braided belts, beaded belts, sash belts, metal chain belts, metal loop belts, elastic belts or combinations thereof

The handbag of claim 1 wherein the main body is comprised of materials selected from the group comprising fleece, wool, flannel, boucle, canvas, silk, twill, corduroy, satin, silk, rayon, velvet, crushed velvet, damask, denim, tweed, faux fur, faux leather, faux suede, leather, suede, jacquard, jersey, metallic, pique, quilted, seersucker, tapestry, PVC or combinations thereof
10 . The handbag of claim 1 wherein the front and back side are reversibly displayable.
11 . A reversibly transformable handbag comprising:
(i) a main body pouch comprising
a. a front side and back side permanently joined along the right and left perimeter of the front and back side;
b. a top boundary of the front and back side forming an open periphery; and
c. a top boundary of the front and back side forming a closed periphery;
(ii) a belt body with terminal ends; (iii) at least one fastening device to secure the belt body to the top boundary of the main body such that the belt body is attachable and detachable from the main body; and (iv) at least one fastening device to secure the belt body around a user's waist p 1 wherein the handbag is transformable to a beltbag by securing the belt body at its terminal ends around a user's waist.
12 . The handbag of claim 11 further comprising detachable straps or handles removably attachable along the top boundary of the main body.
13 . The handbag of claim 12 further comprising a compartment on the main body to store said straps or handles when not attached to the main body.
14 . The handbag of claim 11 further comprising detachably removable ornamental pieces and outer and inner surfaces on the front and back sides wherein the detachable removable ornamental piece may be attached and detached to the outer surface of the front and back side.
15 . The handbag of claim 11 wherein the fastening devices to permanently secure the belt body to the top boundary of the main body is selected from the group comprising solid rings, clasps, other non-spring loaded devices or combinations thereof.
16 . The handbag of claim 11 wherein the fastening device to secure the belt at its terminal ends is selected from the group comprising belt buckles, snaps, buttons, Velcro, tie-ons or combinations thereof

The handbag of claim 11 wherein the belt body is comprised of materials selected from the group comprising fleece, wool, flannel, boucle, canvas, silk, twill, corduroy, satin, silk, rayon, velvet, crushed velvet, damask, denim, tweed, faux fur, faux leather, faux suede, leather, suede, jacquard, jersey, metallic, pique, quilted, seersucker, tapestry, PVC or combinations thereof
18 . The handbag of claims 11 wherein the style of the belt body is selected from the group comprising fashion waist belts, braided belts, beaded belts, sash belts, metal chain belts, metal loop belts, elastic belts or combinations thereof

The handbag of claim 11 wherein the main body is comprised of materials selected from the group comprising fleece, wool, flannel, boucle, canvas, silk, twill, corduroy, satin, silk, rayon, velvet, crushed velvet, damask, denim, tweed, faux fur, faux leather, faux suede, leather, suede, jacquard, jersey, metallic, pique, quilted, seersucker, tapestry, PVC or combinations thereof
20 . A reversibly transformable handbag comprising:
(i) a main body pouch comprising
