Abstract
A method and electronic device are provided for processing data. Analog text included in a document is detected. A first area of the analog text that converts to digital text and a second area of the analog text that does not convert to the digital text are determined. The digital text is displayed in the first area that converts to the digital text, and an image of at least a portion of the analog text is displayed in the second area that does not convert to digital text.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method of processing data in an electronic device, the method comprising the steps of:
detecting analog text included in a document; determining a first area of the analog text that converts to digital text and a second area of the analog text that does not convert to the digital text; and displaying the digital text in the first area that converts to the digital text, and displaying an image of at least a portion of the analog text in the second area that does not convert to digital text.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the image of the at least a portion of the analog text comprises at least one character or symbol of the analog text.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the at least one character or symbol of the analog text comprises a sentence.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein displaying the image comprises displaying a matching error code with the image in the second area that does not convert to the digital text.
5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein displaying the digital text comprises displaying digital information that performs a function matched to the symbol.
6 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the analog text comprises printed text information and handwritten text information.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the symbol represents a relationship between digital text of the printed text information and digital text of the handwritten text information.
8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the symbol represents a relationship between digital text of the printed text information and the image of the handwritten text information.
9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising displaying the image of the handwritten text information in the second area separate from the first area in which digital text is displayed or at a second layer.
10 . The method of claim 2 , wherein a display corresponding to the at least one symbol is displayed in the digital text corresponding to the display.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein a relationship between the display corresponding to the at least one symbol and the digital text corresponding to the display is stored at a database.
12 . An electronic device, comprising:
a display configured to display text information; a memory storing the text information in the electronic device; an information processing module configured to process the text information; and at least one processor configured to execute the information processing module, wherein the information processing module detects analog text included in a document, determines a first area of the analog text that converts to digital text and a second area of the analog text that does not convert to the digital text, and controls to display the digital text in the display in the first area that converts to the digital text and to display an image of at least a portion of the analog text in the display in the second area that does not convert to the digital text.
13 . The electronic device of claim 12 , wherein the information processing module is configured to convert an area comprising at least one character or symbol of the analog text to the image of at least a portion of the analog text.
14 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein the information processing module is configured to determine a word comprising the at least one character and a sentence comprising the word from the analog text.
15 . The electronic device of claim 12 , wherein the information processing module is configured to display a matching error code with the image in the second area that does not convert to the digital text.
16 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein the information processing module is configured to display the digital information that performs a function matched to the symbol.
17 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein the information processing module is configured to determine information comprising printed text information and handwritten text information from the analog text.
18 . The electronic device of claim 17 , wherein the information processing module is configured to represent a relationship between digital text of the printed text information and digital text of the handwritten text information.
19 . The electronic device of claim 17 , wherein the information processing module controls to represent a relationship between digital text of the printed text information and the image of the handwritten text information.
20 . The electronic device of claim 19 , wherein the information processing module is configured to display the image of the handwritten text information in the second area separate from the first area in which digital text is displayed or at a second layer.
21 . The electronic device of claim 13 , wherein the information processing module is configured to display a display corresponding to the at least one symbol in an area comprising the at least one symbol of the analog text in the digital text corresponding to the display.
22 . The electronic device of claim 21 , wherein the information processing module is configured to process a relationship between the display corresponding to the at least one symbol and the digital text corresponding to the display through a previously stored database.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
