Interchangeable abrasive glove

Abstract

An interchangeable abrasive glove for allowing a user to selectively attach an abrasive surface to the palmar side of a glove. The interchangeable abrasive glove comprises a base glove constructed of a stretch polyester and rubber with a removably attachable sandpaper component which includes an abrasive area and a plurality of smooth portions. The base glove includes a glove fastening surface comprising the loop portion of a hook and loop fastener. The sandpaper component additionally includes a sandpaper fastening surface comprising the hook portion of a hook and loop fastener and a end tab portion. The sandpaper fastening surface and the glove fastening surface allows the sandpaper component to removably attached to the glove body, while the end tab portion provides a structure to be pulled on to ease the removal of the sandpaper component from the base glove.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An interchangeable abrasive glove, comprising:
 a base glove having a glove fastening portion disposed thereon;   a abrasive component having a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein said top surface includes an abrasive material disposed thereon and said bottom surface includes an abrasive fastening portion disposed thereon; and   wherein said glove fastening portion and said abrasive fastening portion are adapted to be removably attachable such that the abrasive component can be removably attached to the base glove.   
     
     
         2 . The interchangeable abrasive glove of  claim 1 , wherein said base glove is constructed of a stretch polyester and rubber material. 
     
     
         3 . The interchangeable abrasive glove of  claim 1 , wherein the glove fastening portion is defined as the loop portion of a hook and loop fastener. 
     
     
         4 . The interchangeable abrasive glove of  claim 1 , wherein the abrasive fastening portion is defined as the hook portion of a hook and loop fastener. 
     
     
         5 . The interchangeable abrasive glove of  claim 1 , wherein the abrasive material is defined as sandpaper. 
     
     
         6 . The interchangeable abrasive glove of  claim 1 , wherein the abrasive component additionally includes one or more smooth portion on said top surface. 
     
     
         7 . The interchangeable abrasive glove of  claim 1 , wherein the abrasive component additionally includes an end tab portion disposed thereon. 
     
     
         8 . An interchangeable abrasive glove, comprising:
 a glove means for covering; and   an abrasive means for attaching to said glove means, wherein said glove means and said abrasive means are each adapted so that said abrasive means is removably attachable to the glove means.
