System For Holding A Mobile Electronic Device And External Battery Which Provides Additional External Power to Said Electronic Device
Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for securing and conveniently holding a mobile electronic device including but not limited to a mobile phone and providing an additional spare external power supply to said mobile electronic device. The system includes a holder which is adapted to removably receive the electronic device therein and a attachment means located at the back of the holder for attaching the holder to an object. The holder further includes a cavity formed therein at the bottom which is adapted to removably receive an external battery for said electronic device. The system may further comprise a portable external battery for said electronic device so that the electronic device can take advantage of the additional spare external power.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A system for holding and providing additional external power to mobile electronic apparatus comprising:
a portable external battery; a holder for releasably holding and securing an electronic apparatus; and an attachment means located at the back side of the holder for attaching the holder to an object; wherein the holder includes a cavity formed therein at its bottom for removably receiving the portable external battery.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the holder comprises a rectangular plate and a pair of adjustable clamps on two lateral sides thereof for releasably holding and frictionally engaging the electronic apparatus.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the holder further comprises a locking mechanism inside the cavity to engage and lock the external battery in place.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the portable external battery comprises USB ports for receiving charging cables with USB ends.
5 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the holder further comprises a ridge located along a front lower end of the plate for providing additional support to a bottom of the electronic apparatus.
6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the ridge comprises holes to allow USB charging cables to pass through and connect the electronic devices to the external battery or to an A/C outlet.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the attachment means at the back side of the plate is sized and configured to clip the holder onto a pole of a golf cart.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the attachment means at the back side of the plate is sized and configured to mount the holder onto an appropriate surface in a car.
9 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the USB ports on the portable external battery can provide external power to multiple mobile electronic devices via the USB charging cables or can be connected through a cable with a USB end that plugs into the external battery USB port and another end with a NC power plug that plugs in the A/C power source.
10 . A device for holding a mobile electronic device and an external battery comprising:
a holder for releasably holding and securing an electronic apparatus; and an attachment means located at a back side of the holder for attaching the holder to an object; wherein the holder includes a cavity formed therein at its bottom for removably receiving an portable external battery.
11 . The device of claim 10 , further comprising an external battery.
12 . The device of claim 10 , wherein the holder comprises a rectangular plate and a pair of adjustable clamps on two lateral sides of the plate for releasably holding and frictionally engaging the electronic apparatus.
13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the holder further comprises a locking mechanism inside the cavity to engage and lock the external battery in place.
14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the portable external battery comprises USB ports for receiving charging cables with USB ends.
15 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the holder further comprises a ridge located along a front lower end of the plate for providing additional support to a bottom of the electronic device.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the ridge comprises holes to allow USB charging cables to pass through and connect the electronic devices to the external battery or to an A/C outlet.
17 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the attachment means at the back side of the plate is sized and configured to clip the holder onto a pole of a golf cart.
18 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the attachment means at the back side of the plate is sized and configured to mount the holder onto an appropriate surface in a car.
19 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the USB ports on the portable external battery can provide external power to multiple mobile electronic devices via the USB charging cables or can be connected through a cable with a USB end that plugs into the external battery USB port and another end with a NC power plug that plugs in the A/C power source.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
