Dilution Kit and Method
Abstract
A dilution kit for and a method of diluting concentrated solutions used to treat allergic symptoms are disclosed. The dilution kit may comprise a case comprising: a base; and a cover hingedly coupled to the base. A foam pad may be removably coupled within the base, the foam pad defining a plurality of vial apertures. A plurality of vials may be removably positionable within the plurality of vial apertures. The method may comprise: removably positioning at least one of a plurality of vials in an upwardly facing position within at least one of a plurality of apertures defined in a layer of foam padding in a base of a case of a dilution kit; and placing a predetermined amount of one of a diluent, a concentrated solution, and a combination thereof into at least one empty vial of the plurality of vials.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A dilution kit, comprising:
a case comprising:
a base; and
a cover hingedly coupled to the base;
a foam pad removably coupled within the base, the foam pad defining a plurality of vial apertures; and a plurality of vials removably positionable within the plurality of vial apertures.
2 . The dilution kit of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of apertures in the foam padding are smaller than the plurality of vials.
3 . The dilution kit of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of apertures are one of a same size, a different size, and a combination thereof.
4 . The dilution kit of claim 1 further comprising an o-ring seal in a groove along a circumferential edge of the base.
5 . The dilution kit of claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises at least one latch that allows the cover to removably couple to the base.
6 . The dilution kit of claim 1 , wherein the base and the cover each comprise an aligning locking member.
7 . The dilution kit of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of vials are inserted in a specified order in the plurality of apertures corresponding to a label marker on the vials left to right and top to bottom.
8 . A system, comprising:
a base hingedly coupled to a cover; a pad removably coupled within the base, the pad defining a plurality of apertures; and a plurality of vials removably positionable within the plurality of apertures.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the plurality of apertures in the foam padding are smaller than the plurality of vials.
10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the plurality of apertures are one of a same size, a different size, and a combination thereof.
11 . The system of claim 8 further comprising an o-ring seal in a groove along a circumferential edge of the base.
12 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the cover comprises at least one latch that allows the cover to removably couple to the base.
13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the base and the cover each comprise an aligning locking member.
14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the plurality of vials are inserted in a specified order in the plurality of apertures corresponding to a label marker on the vials left to right and top to bottom.
15 . A system, comprising:
a case comprising:
a base; and
a cover hingedly coupled to the base; and
a foam pad coupled within the base, the foam pad defining a plurality of vial apertures.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of apertures in the foam padding are smaller than a plurality of vials.
17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of apertures are one of a same size, a different size, and a combination thereof.
18 . The system of claim 15 further comprising an o-ring seal in a groove along a circumferential edge of the base.
19 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the cover comprises at least one latch that allows the cover to removably couple to the base.
20 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the base or the cover comprise a locking member.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
