I claim:

         1 . A process comprising;
 Using an adjustable leg that provides support for a building.

         2 . A process according to  claim 1  further comprising;
 Having the leg being comprised of an outside tube with a series of holes and an inside tube with a series of holes where bolts are placed in one of more holes when the holes of the inside tube and the outside tube are aligned.

         3 . A process according to  claim 2  further comprising;
 changing the holes through which the bolts to adjust the height of the leg.

         4 . A process according to  claim 2  further comprising;
 Having the leg connect to a bearing plate.

         5 . A process according to  claim 4  further comprising;
 Having said bearing plate made of a combination steel and plastic.

         6 . A process according to  claim 4  further comprising;
 Having hold down weight provided by soil or concrete that is placed on the bearing down plate.

         7 . A process according to  claim 1  further comprising;
 Having a threaded rod at the top of said leg where said rod is turned for height adjustment.

         8 . A process according to  claim 7  further comprising;
 Having a bearing plate attached to the top of said threaded rod.

         9 . A process according to  claim 7  further comprising;
 Having a deflection prevention plate attached to the side of said leg.

         10 . A process according to  claim 1  further comprising;
 Having said an offset hold down arm attached to the leg assembly which is attached to a building.

         11 . A device comprising;
 An adjustable leg that provides support for a building.

         12 . A device according to  claim 11  further comprising;
 Where the leg has an outside tube with a series of holes and an inside tube with a series of holes where bolts are placed in one of more set holes when the holes of the inside tube and the outside tube are aligned.

         13 . A device according to  claim 12  further comprising;
 Where changing the holes through which the bolts to adjust the height of the leg.

         14 . A device according to  claim 12  further comprising;
 Where the leg connects to a bearing plate.

         15 . A device according to  claim 14  further comprising;
 Where said bearing plate made of a combination steel and plastic.

         16 . A device according to  claim 11  further comprising;
 Where a threaded rod is connected to the top of said leg where said rod is turned for height adjustment.

         17 . A device according to  claim 16  further comprising;
 Where a bearing plate attached to the top of said threaded rod.

         18 . A device according to  claim 16  further comprising;
 Where a deflection prevention plate attached to the side of said leg.

         19 . A device according to  claim 11  further comprising;
 Where an offset hold down arm is attached to the leg assembly which is attached to a building.

         20 . A device comprising;
 A adjustable leg that provides support for a building where the leg has an outside tube with a series of holes and an inside tube with a series of holes where bolts are placed in one of more holes when the holes of the inside tube and the outside tube are aligned where changing the holes through which the bolts to adjust the height of the leg with a bearing plate connected to the bottom of side leg and a threaded rod is connected to the top of said leg where said rod is turned for height adjustment, where a bearing plate attached to the top of said threaded rod and a a deflection prevention plate attached to the side of said leg and where an offset hold down arm is attached to the leg assembly which is attached to a building.
