Abstract

The present disclosure includes a system and methods for providing advertising. In some implementations, a method includes associating a plurality of ad spaces of at least two different types as a unit. The unit is offered to one or more advertisers for purchase.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 24 . (canceled)

         25 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
 automatically generating a bundle that includes at least two ad spaces for presentation of different content items by a same advertiser including:
 identifying a first space in an inventory of ad spaces of a first type;
 identifying a second different space in the inventory of ad spaces of a second different type;
 determining, by a processor, that a proximity of a location associated with the first space is substantially proximate to a location associated with the second different space; and
 bundling the first space and the second different space to form a unit;
   offering the unit to one or more advertisers through an online selection process; and selling the unit to the single purchaser based on results of the selection.

         26 . The method of claim 1 , wherein automatically generating a bundle includes determining an occurrence of an event, and based on the occurrence, generating the bundle, wherein the event is selected from the group comprising receipt of a request, identification of a period of time, or receipt of one or more of the first or second different ads in the inventory of ad spaces.

         27 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one of the ad spaces comprises an ad space for presenting an advertisement through a stand-alone display or an ad space for presenting an advertisement through a computer in response at least to a proximity of the computer to the standalone display.

         28 . The method of claim 1 , wherein automatically generating the bundle further includes determining that a time for presenting an ad associated in the first space is substantially concurrent to a time associated with presenting an ad in the second different space and only bundling when the time is substantially concurrent.

         29 . The method of claim 28 , wherein the unit is associated with a period of time for simultaneously displaying at least two advertisements through different types of media.

         30 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the unit is associated with a geographic location for proximately displaying two advertisements through different types of media.

         31 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising identifying a first ad of the single purchaser for display in the first space and a second ad of the single purchaser for display in the second different space, determining a serving time to present the first and second ads, and providing the first and second ad at the serving time to respective different channels associated with respective types of the first and the second different ad spaces.

         32 . A computer program product embodied in a non-transitive computer-readable medium including instructions, that when executed, cause one or more processors to:
 automatically generate a bundle that includes at least two ad spaces for presentation of different content items by a same advertiser including:
 identifying a first space in an inventory of ad spaces of a first type;
 identifying a second different space in the inventory of ad spaces of a second different type;
 determining, by a processor, that a proximity of a location associated with the first space is substantially proximate to a location associated with the second different space; and
 bundling the first space and the second different space to form a unit;
   offer the unit to one or more advertisers through an online selection process; and sell the unit to the single purchaser based on results of the selection.

         33 . The computer program product of claim 32 , wherein automatically generating a bundle includes determining an occurrence of an event, and based on the occurrence, generating the bundle, wherein the event is selected from the group comprising receipt of a request, identification of a period of time, or receipt of one or more of the first or second different ads in the inventory of ad spaces.

         34 . The computer program product of claim 32 , wherein the at least one of the ad spaces comprises an ad space for presenting an advertisement through a stand-alone display or an ad space for presenting an advertisement through a computer in response at least to a proximity of the computer to the standalone display.

         35 . The computer program product of claim 32 , wherein automatically generating the bundle further includes determining that a time for presenting an ad associated in the first space is substantially concurrent to a time associated with presenting an ad in the second different space and only bundling when the time is substantially concurrent.

         36 . The computer program product of claim 35 , wherein the unit is associated with a period of time for simultaneously displaying at least two advertisements through different types of media.

         37 . The computer program product of claim 32 , wherein the unit is associated with a geographic location for proximately displaying two advertisements through different types of media.

         38 . The computer program product of claim 32 , further including instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to identify a first ad of the single purchaser for display in the first space and a second ad of the single purchaser for display in the second different space, determine a serving time to present the first and second ads, and provide the first and second ad at the serving time to respective different channels associated with respective types of the first and the second different ad spaces.

         39 . A system comprising:
 one or more processors; and one or more memory elements including instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to:
 automatically generate a bundle that includes at least two ad spaces for presentation of different content items by a same advertiser including:
 identifying a first space in an inventory of ad spaces of a first type;
 identifying a second different space in the inventory of ad spaces of a second different type;
 determining, by a processor, that a proximity of a location associated with the first space is substantially proximate to a location associated with the second different space; and
 bundling the first space and the second different space to form a unit;

 offer the unit to one or more advertisers through an online selection process; and
 sell the unit to the single purchaser based on results of the selection.

         40 . The system of claim 39 , wherein automatically generating a bundle includes determining an occurrence of an event, and based on the occurrence, generating the bundle, wherein the event is selected from the group comprising receipt of a request, identification of a period of time, or receipt of one or more of the first or second different ads in the inventory of ad spaces.

         41 . The system of claim 39 , wherein the at least one of the ad spaces comprises an ad space for presenting an advertisement through a stand-alone display or an ad space for presenting an advertisement through a computer in response at least to a proximity of the computer to the standalone display.

         42 . The system of claim 39 , wherein automatically generating the bundle further includes determining that a time for presenting an ad associated in the first space is substantially concurrent to a time associated with presenting an ad in the second different space and only bundling when the time is substantially concurrent.

         43 . The system of claim 43 , wherein the unit is associated with a period of time for simultaneously displaying at least two advertisements through different types of media.

         44 . The system of claim 39 , wherein the unit is associated with a geographic location for proximately displaying two advertisements through different types of media.
