Abstract

A waterfowl decoy animation device comprising a frame having a first elongated frame member and a second elongated frame member configured in a cruciform configuration, a first pulley wheel rotatably attached to a first end of the first frame member, a second pulley wheel rotatably attached to a second end of the first frame member, a third pulley wheel rotatably attached to a first end of the second frame member, and a fourth pulley wheel rotatably attached to a second end of the second frame member; a drive motor operatively associated with one of the pulley wheels; a drive belt around the pulley wheels; an electric source operatively associated with the drive motor; and at least one waterfowl decoy attached to the drive belt.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A self-contained waterfowl decoy animation device, comprising:
a frame; at least two pulley wheels rotatably attached to the frame; a drive motor operatively associated with one of said pulley wheels; a drive belt around the pulley wheels; and an electric source operatively associated with the drive motor.

2 . The device of claim 1 further comprising at least one waterfowl decoy attached to the drive belt.

3 . The device of claim 2 wherein the at least one waterfowl decoy is attached to the drive belt by a flexible tether line.

4 . The device of claim 1 wherein the frame comprises a first elongated frame member and a second elongated frame member, said recited frame members arranged in a cruciform configuration in use.

5 . The device of claim 4 further comprising four pulley wheels on the frame, one each of the pulley wheels position on an end of the frame members, and wherein the drive motor is operatively associated with one of said four pulley wheels.

6 . The device of claim 1 wherein the electric source is a battery.

7 . The device of claim 6 wherein the battery is located in a waterproof battery pack.

8 . The device of claim 1 further comprising stilts under the frame.

9 . The device of claim 4 wherein the first and second frame members are affixed together at a pivot point.

10 . The device of claim 9 wherein the frame is foldable about the pivot point.

11 . The device of claim 1 wherein the drive motor is housed in a waterproof housing.

12 . A portable waterfowl decoy animation device, comprising:
a frame comprising a first elongated frame member and a second elongated frame member, said frame members configured in a cruciform configuration for use; a first pulley wheel rotatably attached to a first end of the first frame member, a second pulley wheel rotatably attached to a second end of the first frame member, a third pulley wheel rotatably attached to a first end of the second frame member, and a fourth pulley wheel rotatably attached to a second end of the second frame member; a drive motor operatively associated with one of said recited pulley wheels; a drive belt around the recited pulley wheels; and an electric source operatively associated with the drive motor.

13 . The device of claim 12 wherein the drive motor comprises a waterproof housing.

14 . The device of claim 12 wherein the electric source comprises a waterproof battery pack.

15 . The device of claim 12 comprising at least one waterfowl decoy attached to the drive belt.

16 . The device of claim 12 wherein the first elongated frame member and second elongated frame are joined at a pivot point and are pivotable from the cruciform configuration to a generally linear configuration.

17 . The device of claim 15 wherein the waterfowl decoy is a duck decoy.

18 . A portable, self-contained waterfowl decoy animation device, comprising:
a frame comprising a first elongated frame member and a second elongated frame member, said frame members attached to each other at a pivot point and arranged in a cruciform for use; a first pulley wheel rotatably attached to a first end of the first frame member, a second pulley wheel rotatably attached to a second end of the first frame member, a third pulley wheel rotatably attached to a first end of the second frame member, and a fourth pulley wheel rotatably attached to a second end of the second frame member; a waterproof drive motor operatively associated with one of said recited pulley wheels; a drive belt around the recited pulley wheels; a waterproof battery pack associated with the drive motor; and at least one waterfowl decoy removably secured to the drive belt by a tether line.

19 . The device of claim 18 further comprising at least stilts removably attached to the frame.

20 . The device of claim 18 wherein the frame members are foldable about the pivot point from said cruciform configuration to a generally linear configuration.
