Method and user interface for facilitating conference calls

Abstract

Presented are systems and methods for presenting conference call information using a mobile conferencing system. The mobile conferencing system classifies a call type parameter as a conference call based on conference details. The mobile conferencing system joins a mobile device to a teleconference using the conference details and the call type parameter. The mobile conferencing system then displays an active call graphical user interface, wherein the graphical user interface displays at least part of the conference details.

         21 . An active call graphical user interface for facilitating a call on a mobile device, comprising:
 a conference dial in number field, wherein the conference dial in number field is populated using conference details;   a conference subject information field;   a conference icon indicative of the call being a conference call; and   one or more controls.   
     
     
         22 . The active call graphical user interface of  claim 21 , wherein conference details include dialing details, subject matter information, and conference scheduling information. 
     
     
         23 . The active call graphical user interface of  claim 22  wherein the conference subject information field is populated using conference details. 
     
     
         24 . The active call graphical user interface of  claim 21  wherein the conference subject information field is populated with an identifier associated with a user of the mobile device. 
     
     
         25 . The active call graphical user interface of  claim 21 , wherein the one or more controls includes at least one control specific to a conference hosting system hosting the conference. 
     
     
         26 . The active call graphical user interface of  claim 25 , wherein the types of conference hosting systems are selected from the group consisting of a mobile bridge, an intermediate conference server, and a conference bridge. 
     
     
         27 . The active call graphical user interface of  claim 21 , wherein the conference icon is displayed in response to a call type parameter classifying the call as a conference call.
