Ultrasound treatment device and methods of use
Abstract
A method can include targeting a region of interest below a surface of skin, which contains fat lobuli and delivering ultrasound energy to the region of interest. The ultrasound energy generates a conformal lesion with said ultrasound energy on a surface of a fat lobuli. The lesion creates an opening in the surface of the fat lobuli, which allows the draining of a fluid out of the fat lobuli and through the opening. In addition, by applying ultrasound energy to fat cells to increase the temperature to between 43° C. and 49° C. degrees, cell apoptosis can be realized, thereby resulting in reduction of fat.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An ultrasound device for treating cellulite and/or fat lobule, the device comprises:
a housing comprising at least two ultrasound transducers, a position sensor, a tissue contact sensor, a communication interface, and a rechargeable power supply.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , further comprising an acoustic gel application device.
3 . The device according to claim 1 , further comprising a controller in communication with the ultrasound treatment device.
4 . The device according to claim 3 , wherein the controller is a wireless device comprising a graphical user interface and a display.
5 . The device according to claim 4 , the controller is configured to an image generated by The ultrasound device.
6 . The device according to claim 1 , further comprising treatment platform configured to provide a second treatment function.
7 . The device according to claim 1 , further comprising treatment platform comprising a second energy source.
8 . The device according to claim 7 , wherein the second energy source is one of a laser, intense pulse light, a light emitting diode, and a radiofrequency generator.
9 . The device according to claim 7 , wherein the second energy source is at least two of a laser, an intense pulsed light, a light emitting diode, a radiofrequency generator, and a mechanical energy source.
10 . The device according to claim 6 , wherein the treatment platform configured to provide at least one of mesotherapy, iontophoresis, pressotherapy, pneumatic massage, lymphatic drainage, electrolipophoresis, roller massage, low frequency ultrasound, vacuum suction, laser energy, and application of RF energy.
11 . The device according to claim 6 , wherein the treatment platform configured to provide a second energy and a vacuum suction function.
12 . A method of acoustic treatment comprising:
coupling an ultrasound device to a region of interest, wherein the device is configured to deliver at least two energy fields to promote one or more effects; delivering a first energy field into the region of interest, thereby destroying fat lobule, delivering a second energy field into the region of interest, thereby, breaking up of fat cell clusters, stretching of the fibrous bonds, enhancing of lymphatic drainage, stimulating of the evacuation of fat decay products, and/or enhancing cell permeability, wherein the acoustic treatment is a treatment of cellulite.
13 . The method according to claim 12 , wherein delivering a first energy field initiates at least one of cell apoptosis, piercing cells to promote drainage, and/or damaging a layer of fat cells to a specified distance below a skin surface.
14 . A method of non-invasively stimulating apoptosis of a fat cell located in a subcutaneous fat layer, the method comprising:
targeting at least one fat cell in a subcutaneous layer below a skin surface; and delivering energy to the fat cell, thereby raising a temperature of the fat cell into a range from about 43° C. to about 49° C., which stimulates apoptosis of the fat cell.
15 . The method according to claim 14 , further comprising applying a physical treatment to the surface of skin.
16 . The method according to claim 15 , wherein the physical treatment is one of mesotherapy, iontophoresis, pressotherapy, pneumatic massage, lymphatic drainage, electrolipophoresis, roller massage, low frequency ultrasound, vacuum suction, laser energy, and application of RF energy.
16 . The method according to claim 15 , wherein the physical treatment can be before, after, or concurrent with the delivering of the ultrasound energy.
17 . The method according to claim 14 , further comprising delivering a second energy field to the at least one fat cell, which can be used before, after, or concurrent with the delivering of the ultrasound energy.
18 . The method according to claim 17 , wherein the second energy raises a temperature of the at least one fat cell into a range from about 43° C. to about 49° C., which stimulates apoptosis of the fat cell.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
