 a forward facing surface;
   a second portion, comprising:
 a window;
 a second threaded surface adapted to engage the first threaded surface; and
 a rear facing surface;
   wherein the first portion and the second portion define an interior cavity.

         2 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the interior surface of the first portion comprises a window.

         3 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the rear facing surface of the second portion comprises a milled groove adapted to receive a sealing element from the first portion.

         4 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the second threaded surface comprises a male screw head and the first threaded surface comprises and female screw head.

         5 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the first threaded surface comprises a male screw thread and the second threaded surface comprises a female screw thread.

         6 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the forward facing surface of the first portion comprises a milled groove adapted to receive an elastomeric element.

         7 . The locket system of claim 6 , wherein the elastomeric element is an o-ring.

         8 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the rear facing surface of the second portion comprises a milled groove adapted to receive an elastomeric seal.

         9 . The locket system of claim 8 , wherein the elastomeric seal is adapted to inhibit penetration of moisture into the interior cavity.

         10 . (canceled)

         11 . The locket system of claim 10 , wherein the interior cavity is configured to store an object.

         12 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein the interior cavity is configured to display the object.

         13 . The locket system of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the first portion and the second portion comprises a decorative surface.

         14 . The locket system of claim 13 , wherein the decorative surface comprises a decorative object.

         15 . (canceled)

         16 . (canceled)

         17 . A locket system connectable to a linking clement, comprising:
 a back portion, comprising:
 an interior surface;
 a threaded surface; and
 a forward-facing perimeter surface
   a front portion, comprising:
 a window;
 a threaded surface adapted to engage the back portion threaded surface, wherein the interior surface of the back portion and the window at least partially define an enclosure; and
 a rear-facing perimeter surface;
   a resilient o-ring seated in a groove defined in at least one of the forward-facing perimeter surface and the rear-facing perimeter surface.

         18 . The locket system of claim 17 , wherein the enclosure is configured to store an object.

         19 . The locket system of claim 17 , wherein the enclosure is configured to display an object.

         20 . The locket system of claim 17 , wherein the interior surface of the back portion comprises a window.

         21 . The locket system of claim 17 , wherein at least one of the back portion and the front portion comprises a decorative surface.

         22 . The locket system of claim 21 , wherein the decorative surface comprises a decorative object.

         23 . The locket system of claim 17 , further comprising a connection point attached to at least one of the back portion and the front portion.
