Multi-Purpose Finger Nail Catching and Grooming Device

Abstract

Present invention teaches a multi-purpose finger nail catching device that accommodates conventional nail clippers, allowing consumers the flexibility to use almost any finger nail clippers. Additional features of LED lighting on the top plate and magnifier help to assist in better viewing and thus safer operation. Optional holders are formed to store and provide replaceable nail filing inserts.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A finger nail catching and grooming device, comprising:
 a. a tube-like housing having a first opening with a finger receptacle on one end;   b. a second end of said tube-like housing with a removable cap containing a curtain of flexible bristles; and,   c. a top plate on the longitudinal side of said tube-like housing to form a transparent see-through cover.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein a first optional holder is formed, next to said top plate, to accept trips of nail filing materials. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein a second optional holder is formed on the opposite side of said first optional holder, to allow for additional or different nail filing accessory items. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein a LED light can be affixed to said top plate, to provide better lighting, to illuminate the interior of said device. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said top plate has a built-in magnifier, to provide easer viewing when finger nails are being clipped or groomed.
