Transferable garment addition to swimwear

Abstract

A transferable garment, for seamlessly transforming an existing bikini swimsuit to a tankini swimsuit, comprising a front side, a back side seamlessly connected to the front side, a torso portion having a top portion and a bottom portion, the front side and the back side forming the torso portion and the torso portion being sized to cover at least a portion of a wearer's torso, an upper front section of the front side, an upper rear section portion of the back side, a first securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper front section for securing the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, a second securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper rear section for securing the torso portion to back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit. The first securing mechanism and the second securing mechanism temporarily secures the torso portion to the existing bikini swimsuit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A transferable garment, the transferable garment comprising:
 a torso portion having a top side and a bottom side, the torso portion being sized to cover at least a portion of a wearer's torso, and   at least one securing mechanism, seamlessly connected to the torso portion, for temporarily securing the torso portion to an existing bikini swimsuit and temporarily transforming the existing bikini swimsuit to a tankini swimsuit by the at least one securing mechanism.   
     
     
         2 . The transferable garment of  claim 1 , further including:
 an upper front section of the top side, and   an upper rear section portion of top side.   
     
     
         3 . The transferable garment of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism temporarily secures the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit and wherein the at least one securing mechanism temporarily secures the torso portion to back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit. 
     
     
         4 . The transferable garment of  claim 1 , wherein the transferable garment is at least one of a plurality of fabrics and the existing bikini swimsuit is at least a garment, an athletic top, swimwear, a bikini swimsuit, a tanktop, a sports bra, and an under garment. 
     
     
         5 . The transferable garment of  claim 1 , further including at least one elastic band and compression mechanism seamlessly coupled to or housed within the torso portion. 
     
     
         6 . The transferable garment of  claim 1 , further including:
 a first supporting strip and a second supporting strip each having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the first supporting strip is seamlessly connected to a first position of the upper front section, and the first end of the second supporting strip is seamlessly connected to a second position of the upper front section, and   a first receiving mechanism connected to the second end of both the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip, the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip forming the at least one securing mechanism, wherein the first receiving mechanism of both the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip receives necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit for securing the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit.   
     
     
         7 . The transferable garment of  claim 6 , wherein the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip are one of a plurality of shapes and sizes. 
     
     
         8 . The transferable garment of  claim 1 , further including a second receiving mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper rear section for receiving back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, the second receiving mechanism forming the at least one securing mechanism. 
     
     
         9 . The transferable garment of  claim 8 , wherein second receiving mechanism is at least one loop seamlessly connected at one or more positions on the upper rear section for threading the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit through the second receiving mechanism. 
     
     
         10 . The transferable garment of  claim 9 , wherein the at least one securing mechanism is one of sewn, glued, stitched, fastened, snapped, buttoned, clipped, secured by Velcro®, pinned, and bonded to the upper rear section. 
     
     
         11 . A transferable garment for seamlessly transforming an existing bikini swimsuit to a tankini swimsuit, the transferable garment comprising:
 a front side,   a back side seamlessly connected to the front side,   a torso portion having a top portion and a bottom portion, the front side and the back side forming the torso portion and the torso portion being sized to cover at least a portion of a wearer's torso,   an upper front section on the top portion of the front side,   an upper rear section portion on the top portion of the back side,   a first securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper front section for securing the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, and   a second securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper rear section for securing the torso portion to back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, wherein the first securing mechanism and the second securing mechanism temporarily secures the torso portion to the existing bikini swimsuit.   
     
     
         12 . The transferable garment of  claim 11 , wherein the transferable garment is at least one of a plurality of fabrics, wherein the plurality of fabrics include at least a lycra material, a polyester material, a nylon material, a flexible material, a compression material, stretchable material, a chlorine-resistance material, a low-water absorbency material, a resilient synthetic material, and a combination of blended fabrics, and the existing bikini swimsuit is at least a garment, an athletic top, swimwear, a bikini swimsuit, a tanktop, a sports bra, and an undergarment. 
     
     
         13 . The transferable garment of  claim 11 , further including at least one elastic band seamlessly woven, sewn, attached, bonded, or glued into both the upper front section and the upper rear section thereby encircling all of the top portion and securing the torso portion to a wearer's torso. 
     
     
         14 . The transferable garment of  claim 11 , further including:
 a first supporting strip and a second supporting strip each having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the first supporting strip is seamlessly connected to a first position of the upper front section, and the first end of the second supporting strip is seamlessly connected to a second position of the upper front section, and   a first receiving mechanism connected to the second end of both the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip, the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip forming the first securing mechanism, wherein the first receiving mechanism of both the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip receives the necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit for securing the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, wherein the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip are one of a plurality of shapes and sizes.   
     
     
         15 . The transferable garment of  claim 14 , further including at least one compression mechanism either coupled to or housed within one of a plurality of locations on the torso portion for compressing and securing the torso portion to a wearer's torso. 
     
     
         16 . The transferable garment of  claim 11 , further including a second receiving mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper rear section for receiving the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, the second receiving mechanism forming the second securing mechanism. 
     
     
         17 . The transferable garment of  claim 16 , wherein second receiving mechanism is at least one loop seamlessly connected at one or more positions on the upper rear section for threading the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit. 
     
     
         18 . The transferable garment of  claim 16 , wherein second receiving mechanism is the upper rear section configured at the top portion of the torso section for threading the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, wherein the second securing mechanism is one of sewn, glued, stitched, fastened, snapped, buttoned, clipped, secured by Velcro®, pinned, and bonded to the upper rear section. 
     
     
         19 . The transferable garment of  claim 17 , further including a third securing mechanism seamlessly coupled to either the first securing mechanism or the second securing mechanism. 
     
     
         20 . A method of manufacturing a transferable garment for seamlessly transforming an existing bikini swimsuit to a tankini swimsuit, the transferable garment comprising:
 providing a front side,   providing a back side seamlessly connected to the front side,   providing a torso portion having a top portion and a bottom portion, the front side and the back side forming the torso portion and the torso portion being sized to cover at least a portion of a wearer's torso,   providing an upper front section of the front side,   providing an upper rear section portion of the back side,   providing a first securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper front section for securing the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit,   a second securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper rear section for securing the torso portion to back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, wherein the first securing mechanism and the second securing mechanism temporarily secures the torso portion to the existing bikini swimsuit.   
     
     
         21 . The method of manufacture  claim 20 , wherein the transferable garment is at least one of a plurality of fabrics, wherein the plurality of fabrics include at least a lycra material, a polyester material, a nylon material, a flexible material, stretchable material, a chlorine-resistance material, a low-water absorbency material, a resilient synthetic material, and a combination of blended materials. 
     
     
         22 . The method of manufacture  claim 20 , further including providing an elastic band seamlessly woven, sewn, attached, bonded, or glued into both the upper front section and the upper rear section thereby encircling all of the top portion and securing the torso portion to a wearer's ribcage. 
     
     
         23 . The method of manufacture  claim 20 , further including:
 providing a first supporting strip and a second supporting strip each having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the first supporting strip is seamlessly connected to a first position of the upper front section, and the first end of the second supporting strip is seamlessly connected to a second position of the upper front section, and   providing a first receiving mechanism connected to the second end of both the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip, the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip forming the first securing mechanism, wherein the first receiving mechanism of both the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip receives the necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit for securing the torso portion to necks straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, wherein the first supporting strip and the second supporting strip are one of a plurality of shapes and sizes.   
     
     
         24 . The method of manufacture of  claim 23 , further including providing at least one compression mechanism either coupled to or housed within one of a plurality of locations on the torso portion for compressing and securing the torso portion to a wearer's torso. 
     
     
         25 . The method of manufacture of  claim 20 , further including providing a second receiving mechanism seamlessly connected to the upper rear section for receiving the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, the second receiving mechanism forming the second securing mechanism. 
     
     
         26 . The method of manufacture of  claim 25 , wherein second receiving mechanism is at least one loop seamlessly connected at one or more positions on the upper rear section for threading the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit. 
     
     
         27 . The method of manufacture of  claim 25 , wherein second receiving mechanism is the upper rear section configured at the top portion of the torso section for threading the back straps of the existing bikini swimsuit, and the second securing mechanism is one of sewn, glued, stitched, fastened, snapped, hemmed, buttoned, clipped, secured by Velcro®, pinned, and bonded to the upper rear section. 
     
     
         28 . The method of manufacture of  claim 26 , further including providing a third securing mechanism seamlessly coupled to either the first securing mechanism or the second securing mechanism. 
     
     
         29 . A transferable garment, the transferable garment comprising:
 a torso portion, the torso portion being sized to cover at least a portion of a wearer's torso, and   at least one securing mechanism seamlessly connected to the torso portion, wherein the at least one securing mechanism temporarily secures the torso portion to an existing bikini swimsuit.
