Electronic device and air blower
Abstract
An electronic device includes a housing, and an air blower arranged in the housing. The air blower includes a base, which receives a fan and defines a number of through slots, and an air duct located on the base. The air duct includes an inner sidewall, an outer sidewall enclosing the inner sidewall, and two connecting plates closing the outer sidewall and the inner sidewall. The outer sidewall, the inner sidewall, and the connecting plates together form a frame-shaped air channel. The outer sidewall defines an inlet communicating with the base. A frame-shaped outlet portion is defined at an outer surface of the inner sidewall. The outlet portion defines an outlet channel communicating with the air channel. The outlet portion defines a frame-shaped outletinner sidewall communicating with the outlet channel.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An air blower comprising:
a base receiving a fan and defining a plurality of through slots for air entering the base; and an air duct located on the base, wherein the air duct is frame-shaped and comprises an inner sidewall, an outer sidewall enclosing the inner sidewall, and two connecting plates respectively connected to front sides and rear sides of the outer and inner sidewalls for closing the outer sidewall and the inner sidewall, wherein the outer sidewall, the inner sidewall, and the connecting plates together form a frame-shaped air channel, the outer sidewall defines an inlet communicating with the base, a frame-shaped outlet portion is formed on an outer surface of the inner sidewall, the outlet portion defines an outlet channel communicating with the air channel, the outlet portion longitudinally defines a frame-shaped outlet opposite to the outer surface of the inner sidewall and communicating with the outlet channel.
2 . The air blower of claim 1 , wherein the inner sidewall and the outer sidewall are both rectangular frames.
3 . The air blower of claim 1 , wherein the base is substantially box shaped and comprises a rectangular bottom plate and four side plates extending up from four sides of the bottom plate, the fan is arranged on an inner surface of one of the side plates.
4 . An electronic device comprising:
a housing comprising a front wall defining a plurality of first vents, a rear wall defining a plurality of second vents, a bottom wall defining a plurality of third vents adjacent to the front wall; and an air blower arranged in the housing, the air blower comprising:
a base set on the bottom wall adjacent to the front wall and receiving a fan and defining a plurality of through slots aligning with the third vents; and
an air duct located on the base and aligning with the first vents, wherein the air duct is frame-shaped and comprises an inner sidewall, an outer sidewall enclosing the inner sidewall, and two connecting plates respectively connected to front sides and rear sides of the outer and inner sidewalls for closing the outer sidewall and the inner sidewall, the outer sidewall, the inner sidewall, and the connecting plates together form a frame-shaped air channel, the outer sidewall defines an inlet communicating with the base, a frame-shaped outlet portion is formed at an outer surface of the inner sidewall, the outlet portion defines an outlet channel communicating with the air channel, the outlet portion longitudinally defines a frame-shaped outlet opposite to the outer surface of the inner sidewall and communicating with the outlet channel.
5 . The electronic device of claim 4 , wherein the inner sidewall and the outer sidewall are both rectangular frames.
6 . The electronic device of claim 4 , wherein the base is substantially box shaped and comprises a rectangular bottom plate and four side plates extending up from four sides of the bottom plate, the fan is arranged on an inner surface of one of the side plates.
7 . The electronic device of claim 4 , wherein the housing further comprises a sidewall connected between the front wall and the rear wall, a motherboard is set on the sidewall.
8 . The electronic device of claim 4 , wherein a power supply unit is arranged on an upper portion of the rear wall.
9 . The electronic device of claim 4 , wherein a hard disk drive bracket is arranged on a middle of the front wall, the inner sidewall encloses the hard disk drive bracket.
10 . The electronic device of claim 4 , wherein the air duct aligns with the plurality of second vents.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
