Abstract

An adjustable frame structure for golf bag includes a body frame unit including a bottom frame having a plurality of upwardly extending and equiangularly spaced plug holes and a top frame having a plurality of downwardly extending and equiangularly spaced plug holes, the plug holes of the bottom frame and the top frame each defining an axially extending base passageway and a plurality of shadow axial passageways and deep axial passageways alternatively arranged around and disposed in communication with the axially extending base passageway, and connection rods selectively insertable with respective opposite ends thereof into the axially extending base passageway and the shadow axial passageways or deep axial passageways of the plug holes to connect the bottom frame and top frame of the body frame unit at one of a series of different heights.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What the invention claimed is:

1 . An adjustable frame structure for golf bag, comprising:
a body frame unit comprising a bottom frame and a top frame, said bottom frame comprising a plurality of upwardly extending and equiangularly spaced plug holes, said top frame comprising a plurality of downwardly extending and equiangularly spaced plug holes corresponding to the plug holes of said bottom frame, the plug holes of said bottom frame and said top frame each defining an axially extending base passageway, a plurality of shadow axial passageways and deep axial passageways alternatively arranged around and disposed in communication with said axially extending base passageway, a first stop edge disposed at an inner side of each said shadow axial passageway, a second stop edge disposed at an inner side of said axially extending base passageway and said deep axial passageways; and a plurality of connection rods inserted into the plug holes of said bottom frame and the plug holes of said top frame to selectively connect said bottom frame and said top frame together at one of a series of different heights, each said connection rod defining a plurality of peripheral portions and corner portions, the number of said corner portions being equal to the number of the shadow axial passageways of the plug holes of one of said bottom frame and said top frame, the corner portions of said connection rods being selectively insertable into the shadow axial passageways or deep axial passageways of the plug holes of said bottom frame and said top frame of said body frame unit.

2 . The adjustable frame structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the combined cross section of the axially extending base passageway and deep axial passageways of the plug holes of said bottom frame and said top frame has a triangular shape; the combined cross section of the axially extending base passageway and shadow axial passageways of the plug holes of said bottom frame and said top frame has a triangular shape; said connection rods have a triangular cross section fitting the shape of the combined cross section of the axially extending base passageway and deep axial passageways of the plug holes of said bottom frame and said top frame and the shape of the combined cross section of the axially extending base passageway and shadow axial passageways of the plug holes of said bottom frame and said top frame.

3 . The adjustable frame structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each said connection rod comprises a first rod member, a second rod member, and a pivot pin having one end thereof fixedly and axially connected to one end of one of said first rod member and said second rod member and an opposite end thereof rotatably coupled to one end of the other of said first rod member and said second rod member.
