What is claimed is:

. A box for carrying substrates, comprising:
a box body having an upper opening, walls and a bottom, the walls and the bottom defining therein a substrate-receiving space; and a box cover having sidewalls and a covering section so as to cover and close the upper opening of the box body, wherein the entirety or a part of the box cover comprises a transparent material which allows the substrate-receiving space inside the box body to be seen.

. The box of claim 1 , wherein a first transparent window is formed in the covering section of the box cover, the first transparent window comprising the transparent material which allows the substrate-receiving space inside the box body to be seen.

. The box of claim 2 , wherein the first transparent window is formed in a local portion of the covering section of the box cover.

. The box of claim 3 , wherein a plurality of the transparent windows are formed in the covering section of the box cover.

. The box of claim 4 , wherein the plurality of the first transparent windows are formed in a central portion and at both sides of the central portion of the covering section of the box cover respectively.

. The box of claim 2 , further comprising second transparent windows formed in a pair of opposing sidewalls of the four sidewalls of the box cover, such that both edges of the substrates are viewable through the second transparent windows.

. The box of claim 1 , further comprising a support pad coupled to the inner surface of the covering section of the box cover, the support pad having a plurality of support grooves into and by which the substrates received in the box body are inserted and held.

. The box of claim 7 , wherein the support grooves have an upside-down “Y” shaped cross-section.

. The box of claim 3 , further comprising a support pad coupled to a local portion of the inner surface of the covering section of the box cover in which the first transparent window is not formed, the support pad having a plurality of support grooves into and by which the substrates received in the box body are inserted and held.

. The box of claim 9 , wherein the support grooves have an upside-down “Y” shaped cross-section.

. The box of claim 1 , further comprising support slots coupled to a pair of opposing inner surfaces of the sidewalls of the box cover, each of the support slots having a plurality of support grooves which supports the substrates received in the box body.

. The box of claim 1 , wherein the box cover comprises an acrylic material, and has a thickness of 1.5 mm.

. The box of claim 2 , wherein the first transparent window comprises an acrylic material, and has a thickness of 1.5 mm.

. The box of claim 6 , wherein the second transparent windows comprises an acrylic material, and have a thickness of 1.5 mm.

. The box of claim 1 , wherein the box body has a plurality of insertion grooves formed in a pair of opposing inner surfaces of the walls thereof, wherein the substrates received in the box body are inserted into and held by the insertion grooves.
