Claims

Abstract

A tissue fastener production method of clamping two living tissues together by bringing the two living tissues into close contact includes the following steps: fixing one end of a wire material made of a metal to a shaft body, and winding the wire material around an outer periphery of the shaft body while twisting the wire material round an axis of the wire material, thereby forming a coil on which a predetermined force is exerted in the winding direction; heat treating the wire material to impart superelasticity thereto; and deforming the wire material to which the superelasticity is imparted in a range in which the wire material is elastically deformable, and reversing the winding direction of the coil in a direction reverse to the winding direction of the coil wound in the step of forming the coil so as to obtain an initial tension corresponding to the predetermined force.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A tissue fastener having spring characteristics which clamps two living tissues together by bringing the two living tissues into close contact with each other, the tissue fastener comprising:
 a first tissue fixing portion which has a first coil diameter and is formed by winding a wire in a coil shape, wherein the wire includes a first end and a second end;   a second tissue fixing portion which is contacted to the first end of the first tissue fixing portion to clamp two living tissues together by bringing the two living tissues into close contact with each other between the first tissue fixing portion and the second tissue fixing portion;   a spring portion which is formed by winding the wire in a coil shape so as to have elastic force from the first tissue fixing portion toward the second tissue fixing portion, wherein the wire includes a third end and a fourth end, and the third end of the spring portion is continuously connected to the first end of the first tissue fixing portion; and   a tissue pressing portion which has a second coil diameter that is greater than the first coil diameter and which is formed by winding the wire in a coil shape so that the number of turns of the wire is equal to or greater than a single turn, wherein the wire includes a fifth end and a sixth end, and the fifth end of the tissue pressing portion is continuously connected to the fourth end of the spring portion so as to press the two living tissues by an elastic force of the spring portion,   wherein the tissue pressing portion includes a pressing surface that is on the wire and faces a side opposite to the spring portion side so as to press one tissue among two tissues when bringing the two living tissues into close contact with each other by the first tissue fixing portion and the second tissue fixing portion;   the tissue pressing portion includes a bending portion that is formed by bending the portion so that the wire the wire of the spring portion intersects in a direction away from the pressing portion and that is provided between the pressing portion and the sixth end of the tissue pressing portion; and   the sixth end of the tissue pressing portion is arranged closer to a space on the spring portion side than the pressing surface.   
     
     
         2 . The tissue fastener according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the tissue pressing portion has a state where adjacent wires have a gap in an unloaded state, and a state where the adjacent wires are elastically deformed and come in close contact with each other in a state where the external force is exerted.   
     
     
         3 . The tissue fastener according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the first tissue fixing portion, the second tissue fixing portion, the spring portion, and the tissue pressing portion are formed of the wire by being wound round the same center axis line, and   the sixth end of the wire of the tissue pressing portion is disposed at a position closer to an axis line than an outline of the tissue pressing portion when viewed in a direction of the center axis line.   
     
     
         4 . The tissue fastener according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the first tissue fixing portion, the second tissue fixing portion, the spring portion, and the tissue pressing portion are formed of the wire by being wound round the same center axis line, and   the sixth end of the wire of the tissue pressing portion is disposed inside a truncated cone region surrounded by the wire, which constitutes the tissue pressing portion and the spring portion, when viewed in a direction orthogonal to the center axis line.
