Claims

Abstract

A system for hot-forming blanks (P) includes at least one heating device ( 4 ) and at least one pressing device ( 8 ) arranged downstream of the at least one heating device ( 4 ), and at Least one reheating device ( 16 ) for at least partially acting upon the blanks formed in the pressing device with heat provided downstream of the pressing device ( 2 ). A method is also provided.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for hot-forming blanks (P), comprising:
 at least one heating device ( 4 );   at least one pressing device ( 8 ) arranged downstream of the at least one heating device ( 4 ) tor forming the blanks; and   at least one reheating device ( 16 ) for at least partially acting upon the blanks (P) formed in the at least one pressing device wish heat provided downstream of the pressing device ( 8 ).   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the reheating device ( 16 ) comprises a burner selected from the group consisting of at least one premixing hydrogen-oxygen burner, and a premixing fuel gas-oxygen burner ( 18 ). 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the reheating device ( 16 ) can be three-dimensionally displaced and oriented. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one heating device ( 4 ) comprises an austenitizing device. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a loading device ( 3 ) for loading the blanks into the system; and   at least one transfer device ( 5 ) for transferring the blanks into the at least one pressing device.   
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a loading device ( 3 ) for loading the blanks into the system; and   at least one transfer device ( 3 ) for transferring the blanks formed to the at least one reheating device.   
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one heating device ( 4 ) comprises at least one paternoster furnace. 
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one heating device comprises at least one premixing hydrogen-oxygen burner or a premixing fuel gas-oxygen burner. 
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one pressing device ( 8 ) operates to cool the blanks to a temperature of between room temperature and 300° C. while said blanks are formed. 
     
     
         10 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein said system heats regions of the formed blanks to temperatures of approximately 650° C. to 850° C. in the at least, one reheating device ( 16 ). 
     
     
         11 . A method for hot-forming blanks in a system including at least one heating device ( 4 ) and at least one pressing device ( 8 ) arranged downstream of the at least one heating device ( 4 ) for forming the blanks, and at least one reheating device ( 16 ) for at least partially acting upon the blanks (P) formed in the at least one pressing device with heat provided downstream of the pressing device ( 8 ), the method comprising:
 heating said blanks to an austenitization temperature;   forming and simultaneously cooling said blanks; and   at least partially heating said blanks to a temperature of approximately 650° C. to 850° C.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein said blanks are selected from the group consisting of coated blanks, aluminum silicone coated blanks, and zinc coated blanks.
