Dynamic logarithmic spinal decompression table and method

Abstract

A cervical-head harness has a cervical support collar has two pair of attachment points. When the cervical collar is in place on a user, attachment points of a first pair of attachment points of the collar lie on either side of the user's head below the user's mandible and between the user's chin and ear. With the cervical collar in place on the user, attachment points of a second pair of attachment points of the collar extend on either side of the user's head proximate a back of the user's head. A strap extends from each of the attachment points and each strap is attached to a support. In use, the support extends above a head of the user.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A cervical-head harness comprising:
 a cervical support collar having a first pair of attachment points which, when said cervical collar is in place on a user, lie on either side of said user's head below said user's mandible and between said user's chin and ear and a second pair of attachment points which, when said cervical collar is in place on said user, extend on either side of said user's head proximate a back of said user's head;   a strap extending from each of said attachment points, each said strap attached to a support, said support, in use, extending above a head of said user.   
     
     
         2 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 2  wherein each said strap is adjustable. 
     
     
         3 . A cervical-head harness comprising:
 a cervical support collar having two ventral attachment points which, when said cervical collar is in place on a user, lie on either side of said user's head below said user's mandible and between said user's chin and ear and two dorsal attachment points which, when said cervical collar is in place on said user, extend below and on either side of said user's occiput;   a ventral strap extending from each ventral attachment point and a dorsal strap extending from each dorsal attachment point, each said strap, in use, extending above a head of said user to a strap support above said head of said user.   
     
     
         4 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 3  wherein each said strap is adjustable in length. 
     
     
         5 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 4  wherein said strap support is a crossbar and wherein one said ventral strap and one said dorsal strap at one side of said harness are attached to said crossbar at a first common attachment point and another said ventral strap and another said dorsal strap at an opposite side of said harness are attached to said crossbar at a second common attachment point. 
     
     
         6 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 5  wherein, in use, each of said straps extend upwardly and outwardly to said crossbar. 
     
     
         7 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 6  wherein, in use, each said dorsal strap lies directly behind one said ventral strap. 
     
     
         8 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 6  further comprising a main strap extending from a middle of said crossbar to a fastener. 
     
     
         9 . The cervical-head harness of  claim 8  wherein said cervical support collar comprises a curved dorsal member with first fastener halves and a curved ventral member with second fastener halves such that said first fastener halves may be joined to said second fastener halves to join said dorsal member to said ventral member.
