The Good Samaritan A Digital Lifesaving Kit

Abstract

The Good Samaritan a self-contained storage device attachable to existing cell phone or factory built into specific cell phone that assists in providing basic emergency aid. Device contains separate compartments, each providing step by step instructions on administering medical aid. Compartment one stores a disposable plastic mouth guard used for administering CPR. CPR instructions based on American Heart Association guidelines. Compartment two stores standard aspirin used when person shows signs of stroke or heart attack. Compartment three stores standard glucose used when person shows signs of low glucose levels. Compartment four is a free compartment used to store personal medications of phone owner Compartment five stores epinephrine pen used when person shows signs of allergic reaction that compromises airway. All compartments are one time use only and are easily replaced after use. Device helps provides basic medical aid at first onset of symptoms allowing first aid to begin immediately.
