Abstract
Providers and sourcing locations for recommended optimization processes of operational processes are evaluated based on provider metrics and sourcing metrics. Providers and sourcing locations for the optimization processes are recommended based on the provider and sourcing evaluations.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
defining, by one or more computers, assessment criteria for a candidate onshore sourcing location, a candidate nearshore sourcing location, and a candidate offshore sourcing location; scoring the onshore sourcing location, the nearshore sourcing location, and the offshore sourcing location against the assessment criteria to generate site scores for each sourcing location; and selecting a recommended sourcing location for an operational process under evaluation, from among the onshore sourcing location, the nearshore sourcing location, and the offshore sourcing location, based at least on the site scores.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the assessment criteria comprise:
assessment criteria that are not specific to the operational process under evaluation; and assessment criteria that are specific to the operational process under evaluation.
4 . The method of claim 2 , comprising selecting a transformation process, from among a reengineering process, an out-tasking process, an outsourcing process, and a non-transformation process, based at least on (i) a respective transformation score for each of the reengineering process, the out-tasking process, the outsourcing process, and the non-transformation process, (ii) the site scores, and (iii) a respective provider score for each of a first party provider and a third party provider.
5 . The method of claim 2 , comprising providing, for output, a representation of the site scores for each sourcing location.
6 . The method of claim 2 , wherein each site score is indicative of a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) value.
7 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the recommended sourcing location is a location which is indicated as best qualified to receive the operational process under evaluation.
8 . The method of claim 2 , comprising generating a multi-axis display for displaying a representation of the site scores, wherein one axis of the multi-axis display is mapped to a range of site scores, and wherein another axis of the multi-axis display is mapped to a range of provider scores or transformation scores.
9 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
defining assessment criteria for a first party provider and a candidate third party provider; scoring the first party provider and the third party provider against the assessment criteria and the provider metrics to generate provider scores for each provider; and selecting a recommended provider for the operational process under evaluation, from among the first party provider and the third party provider, based at least on the provider scores.
10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the assessment criteria comprise:
assessment criteria that are not specific to the operational process under evaluation; and assessment criteria that are specific to the operational process under evaluation.
11 . The method of claim 9 , comprising selecting a transformation process, from among a reengineering process, an out-tasking process, an outsourcing process, and a non-transformation process, based at least on (i) a respective transformation score for each of the reengineering process, the out-tasking process, the outsourcing process, and the non-transformation process, (ii) the respective provider scores, and (iii) a respective site score for each of an onshore sourcing location, a nearshore sourcing location, and an offshore sourcing location.
12 . The method of claim 9 , comprising providing, for output, a representation of the provider scores for each provider.
13 . The method of claim 9 , wherein each provider score is indicative of a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) value.
14 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the recommended provider is a provider which is indicated as best qualified to receive the operational process under evaluation.
15 . The method of claim 9 , comprising generating a multi-axis display for displaying a representation of the site scores, wherein one axis of the multi-axis display is mapped to a range of provider scores, and wherein another axis of the multi-axis display is mapped to a range of site scores or transformation scores.
16 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
defining assessment criteria for a candidate reengineering process, a candidate out-tasking process, a candidate outsourcing process, and a non-transformation process; scoring the reengineering process, the out-tasking process, the outsourcing process, and the non-transformation process against the assessment criteria to generate transformation scores for each process; and selecting a transformation process for the operational process under evaluation, from among the reengineering process, the out-tasking process, the outsourcing process, and the non-transformation process, based at least on the transformation scores.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the assessment criteria comprise:
assessment criteria that are not specific to the operational process under evaluation; and assessment criteria that are specific to the operational process under evaluation.
18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the transformation process is selected, from among a reengineering process, an out-tasking process, an outsourcing process, and a non-transformation process, further based on (i) a respective site score for each of an onshore sourcing location, a nearshore sourcing location, and an offshore sourcing location, and (ii) a respective provider score for each of a first party provider and a third party provider.
19 . The method of claim 16 , comprising providing, for output, a representation of the transformation scores for each of the candidate reengineering process, the candidate out-tasking process, the candidate outsourcing process, and the non-transformation process.
20 . The method of claim 16 , wherein each transformation score is indicative of a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) value.
21 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the transformation process is a process which is indicated as best qualified to transform the operational process under evaluation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
