Abstract

A guide apparatus including a body having a proximal end, a distal end, a hole formed therethrough, and a central axis defined therethrough, and a projection member coupled to the distal end of the body. An outer diameter of the body is larger than an outer diameter of the projection member. Further, the projection member does not obstruct a pathway defined by the hole.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A guide apparatus comprising:
a body having a proximal end, a distal end, a hole formed therethrough, and a central axis defined therethrough; and a projection member coupled to the distal end of the body, wherein an outer diameter of the body is larger than an outer diameter of the projection member, wherein the projection member does not obstruct a pathway defined by the hole.

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising:
a handle coupled to the proximal end of the body.

3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the handle is coupled to the body at an angle that is between 1 and 90 degrees from the central axis of the body.

4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the hole is configured to receive, at least a portion of, a drill.

5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the hole is formed through the body in a direction that is substantially parallel to the central axis of the body.

6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein a central axis of the hole is offset from the central axis of the body.

         7 .- 17 . (canceled)

18 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the projection member is configured to be disposed in a bone tunnel.

19 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the apparatus is pivotable about the projection member.

         20 . A guide apparatus comprising:
a body having a proximal end, a distal end, a hole formed therethrough, and a central axis defined therethrough; and a projection member coupled to the distal end of the body, the projection member configured for being disposed in a bone tunnel and permitting the apparatus to pivot, wherein an outer diameter of the body is larger than an outer diameter of the projection member and the projection member does not obstruct a pathway defined by the hole.

         21 . A guide apparatus comprising:
a body having a proximal end, a distal end, a hole formed therethrough, and a central axis defined therethrough; a handle coupled to the proximal end of the body; a projection member coupled to the distal end of the body, the projection member configured for being disposed in a bone tunnel and permitting the apparatus to pivot, wherein an outer diameter of the body is larger than an outer diameter of the projection member and the projection member does not obstruct a pathway defined by the hole.
