Container for plants

Abstract

The container for plants comprises a lateral wall comprising at least one sheet ( 10 ) which shapes a plane ( 20 ) and a plurality of hollow protuberances ( 12 ), which extend from the plane ( 20 ) outwards of the container and which are suitable to receive the roots during the growth. Each hollow protuberance ( 12 ) has a median axis inclined downwards when in use.

1 . A container for plants, suitable to contain soil for growing the plants and roots of the plants, the container comprising:
 a lateral wall comprising at least one sheet, which shapes a plane and a plurality of external protuberances, which extend from said plane towards an outside of said container and are suitable to receive said roots, each of said external protuberances having in use a median axis inclined downwards.   
     
     
         2 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein said external protuberances are provided with an opening at an external end thereof, so as to allow interruption of growth of said roots. 
     
     
         3 . A container according to  claim 2 , wherein said external protuberances extend from a respective internal opening, made at said plane, said internal opening having a center arranged in a position higher than a position of the center of said external opening. 
     
     
         4 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein said sheet is provided with a plurality of diverting elements with a closed end which extend from said plane towards an inside of said container, said diverting elements being suitable to divert said roots towards said external protuberances. 
     
     
         5 . A container according to  claim 4 , wherein said diverting elements have an elongated shape. 
     
     
         6 . A container according to  claim 4 , wherein said diverting elements have a profile having a substantially triangular transversal section. 
     
     
         7 . A container according to  claim 4 , wherein said diverting elements comprise secondary hollow protuberances which extend from a respective internal opening of extended shape comprised in said plane of the sheet and which converge towards a respective said closed end. 
     
     
         8 . A container according to  claim 4 , wherein said diverting elements are arranged alternated with said external protuberances. 
     
     
         9 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein said external protuberances shape a grid for minimizing a presence of flat zones on said sheet. 
     
     
         10 . A container according to  claim 2 , wherein a vertical median section of said external protuberances has a first projection, lower in use, which shapes an angle substantially equal to or slightly major than 90° with said plane of the sheet at an outside of a respective protuberance. 
     
     
         11 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein said sheet is of flexible material. 
     
     
         12 . A container according to  claim 1 , wherein said sheet is of rhomboidal shape. 
     
     
         13 . A container according to  claim 11 , wherein said sheet is folded and closed through an overlapping of two lateral edges. 
     
     
         14 . A container according to  claim 13 , further comprising:
 a closure means for closing said sheet by jointing said overlapped edges.   
     
     
         15 . A container according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a pierced base comprising an external fixed part, made of flexible material and suitable to wedge into hollows of said external protuberances of the sheet, and an internal removable part, arranged at a center of said external fixed part.   
     
     
         16 . A container according to  claim 3 , wherein said sheet is provided with a plurality of diverting elements with a closed end which extend from said plane towards an inside of said container, said diverting elements being suitable to divert said roots towards said external protuberances. 
     
     
         17 . A container according to  claim 5 , wherein said diverting elements have a profile having a substantially triangular transversal section. 
     
     
         18 . A container according to  claim 6 , wherein said diverting elements comprise secondary hollow protuberances which extend from a respective internal opening of extended shape comprised in said plane of the sheet and which converge towards a respective said closed end. 
     
     
         19 . A container according to  claim 7 , wherein said diverting elements are arranged alternated with said external protuberances. 
     
     
         20 . A container according to  claim 12 , wherein said sheet is folded and closed through an overlapping of two lateral edges.
