Claims

Abstract

A self-propelled vacuum cleaner has a moving device and a vacuuming device. The moving device has a casing and a control module. The casing has at least one wheel, a vacuuming hole, a clapboard, a mounting chamber, an assembling chamber and a communicating hole. The communicating hole is formed through the clapboard and communicates with the mounting chamber and the assembling chamber. The control module is mounted in the mounting chamber to control the rotation of the at least one wheel. The vacuuming device is detachably connected to the moving device and has a vacuuming module and a filtering module. The vacuuming module is mounted in the assembling chamber and has a front shell, a power supply, a fan and a communicating cover. The filtering module is mounted in the mounting chamber, is connected to the vacuuming module and has a rear shell, a filter holder and a filter.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A self-propelled vacuum cleaner having:
 a moving device having
 a casing having
 a bottom; 
 a middle; 
 a front side; 
 a rear side; 
 at least one wheel rotatably mounted on the bottom of the casing near the rear side of the casing; 
 a vacuuming hole formed through the bottom of the casing near the at least one wheel; 
 a clapboard formed on and protruding from the bottom of the casing at the middle of the casing; 
 a mounting chamber formed in the casing between the clapboard and the rear side of the casing; 
 an assembling chamber formed partially through the front side of the casing to form two sidewalls to connect with the clapboard; and 
 a communicating hole formed through the clapboard of the casing and communicating with the mounting chamber and the assembling chamber; and 
 
 a control module mounted in the mounting chamber of the casing to control a rotation of the at least one wheel; and 
   a vacuuming device detachably connected to the moving device in the assembling chamber and having an inlet pipe communicating with the vacuuming hole of the casing.   
     
     
         2 . The self-propelled vacuum cleaner as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the vacuuming device has
 a vacuuming module mounted in the assembling chamber of the casing and having
 a front shell having
 a closed front side; 
 an open rear side; 
 a bottom; and 
 a mounting recess formed in the front shell and communicating with the open rear side of the front shell; 
 
 a power supply mounted on the bottom of the front shell in the mounting recess; 
 a fan mounted in the mounting recess of the front shell, electrically connected to the power supply, and having
 a top; 
 a bottom; 
 a front side; 
 an inlet hole formed through the top of the fan; 
 at least one outlet hole formed through the front side of the fan and communicating with the inlet hole; and 
 
 a communicating cover mounted in the mounting recess of the front shell, mounted on the top of the fan, communicating with the inlet hole and having a rear side; and 
   a filtering module mounted in the mounting chamber via the communicating hole, connected to the vacuuming module and having
 a rear shell detachably connected to the front shell and having
 an open front side connected to the rear side of the communicating cover; and 
 a closed rear side; and 
 
   wherein the inlet pipe is formed on the closed rear side of the rear shell and communicates with the vacuuming hole of the casing when the vacuuming device is connected to the moving device.   
     
     
         3 . The self-propelled vacuum cleaner as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the real shell has
 a filter holder mounted between the communicating cover and the rear shell and having a rear side; and   a filter mounted on the rear side of the filter holder.   
     
     
         4 . The self-propelled vacuum cleaner as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein
 the casing has a positioning hole formed through the bottom of the casing and communicating with the assembling chamber;   the front shell has a through hole formed through the bottom of the front shell, communicating with the mounting recess of the front shell and aligning with the positioning hole of the casing when the vacuuming device is connected to the moving device; and   the fan has a positioning protrusion formed on and protruding from the bottom of the fan, engaging and extending out of the positioning hole of the casing via the through hole of the front shell; and   wherein the power supply is mounted on the bottom of the front shell in the mounting recess between the through hole and the closed front side of the front shell.   
     
     
         5 . The self-propelled vacuum cleaner as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the front shell has a net mounted on the closed front side of the front shell and communicating with the mounting recess of the front shell and the at least one outlet hole of the fan. 
     
     
         6 . The self-propelled vacuum cleaner as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the front shell has a net mounted on the closed front side of the front shell and communicating with the mounting recess of the front shell and the at least one outlet hole of the fan. 
     
     
         7 . The self-propelled vacuum cleaner as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the front shell has a net mounted on the closed front side of the front shell and communicating with the mounting recess of the front shell and the at least one outlet hole of the fan.
