Abstract

A system configured to facilitate selling hybrid cloud services comprises a plurality of user interface structures each coupled to an information processor. A first user interface structure is configured to request information characterizing deployment of an application within a current operational infrastructure. A second user interface structure is configured to display a recommended deployment infrastructure supporting migration of the application thereto. A third user interface structure is configured to display information characterizing migration of the application to the recommended deployment infrastructure. The information processor is configured to receive the current application deployment characterizing information from the first user interface structure, to determine the recommended deployment infrastructure using at least a portion of the current application deployment characterizing information, and to determine the information characterizing migration of the application to the recommended deployment infrastructure using at least a portion of the current application deployment.

         5 . The method of claim 4 wherein determining the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure comprises determining a level of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application and a type of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application.

         6 . The method of claim 4 wherein determining the information characterizing migration of the application comprises determining an estimated cost of migrating the application to the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure.

         7 . The method of claim 6 wherein determining the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure comprises determining a level of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application and a type of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application.

         8 . The method of claim 1 wherein the information characterizing deployment of the application within the current operational environment comprises:
 information characterizing an estimated number of concurrent users supported by the application;

 information characterizing a number of servers required for one or more specified deployment environments within the application.

         9 . The method of claim 8 wherein:
 determining the information characterizing migration of the application comprises determining information characterizing readiness of the application for migration to the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure and information characterizing savings associated with migrating the application to the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure; and
 determining the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure comprises determining a level of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application and a type of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application.

         10 . A system configured to facilitate selling hybrid cloud services, comprising:
 a first user interface structure configured to request information characterizing deployment of an application within a current operational infrastructure; a second user interface structure configured to display a recommended deployment infrastructure supporting migration of the application thereto; a third user interface structure configured to display information characterizing migration of the application to the recommended deployment infrastructure; and an information processor coupled to each one of the user interfaces, wherein the information processor is configured to receive the current application deployment characterizing information from the first user interface structure, to determine the recommended deployment infrastructure using at least a portion of the current application deployment characterizing information, and to determine the information characterizing migration of the application to the recommended deployment infrastructure using at least a portion of the current application deployment.

         11 . The system of claim 10 wherein being configured to determine the recommended hybrid cloud infrastructure comprises being configured to determine a level of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application and a type of hybrid cloud suitably configured to support migration of the application.

         12 .
