Cosmetic organizer

Abstract

A cosmetic organizer having deformable walls that define a plurality of slots is shown. Each of the slots may receive a makeup utensil. Moreover, a group of makeup utensils may be complementarily grouped and inserted into the plurality of slots so that the user may have convenient grouping of complementary makeup utensils and does not need to search within an unorganized makeup bag.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A cosmetic organizer, the organizer comprising:
 a body fabricated from a flexible and resilient material, the body formed to have first and second slots, the first slot defined by a first wall, the second slot defined by a second wall, the first wall defining a first slot for receiving a first makeup utensil, the second wall defining a second slot for receiving a second makeup utensil, the walls being fabricated from a flexible and resilient material so that the walls deflect when the makeup utensil is being laterally pulled out of the first and second slots and resume its original configuration when the first and second makeup utensils have been removed from the first and second slots.   
     
     
         2 . The organizer of  claim 1  wherein the slot extends along an entire height of the body. 
     
     
         3 . The organizer of  claim 1  wherein each slot is defined by additional walls. 
     
     
         4 . The organizer of  claim 3  wherein the first and second walls are formed in a circular configuration defining an inner diameter. 
     
     
         5 . The organizer of  claim 4  wherein an inner diameter on a first end is larger than an inner diameter of a second end. 
     
     
         6 . The organizer of  claim 4  wherein a thickness of the first wall at a first end is greater than a thickness of the first wall at a second end. 
     
     
         7 . The organizer of  claim 1  wherein the body is further formed to have a third slot. 
     
     
         8 . The organizer of  claim 1  wherein the body is fabricated from an elastomeric material. 
     
     
         9 . The organizer of  claim 1  wherein a bottom of the slot has a flat wall.
