Abstract

A special night guard, named as “AGP night guard”, comprising a “special retention piece and AGP (Anterior Guidance Package), is provided. The “AGP night guard comprises of; 1) one AGP and 2) two special retention pieces having an anteriorly protruded shelf to receive the maxillary guidance component of the AGP and/or mandibular guidance component of the AGP. For severe Class II malocclusion patient an AGP night guard uses: 1) one AGP, 2) one special retention piece of the current application to receive mandibular guidance component of the AGP and 3) one regular retention piece to apply maxillary guidance component of the AGP. For severe Class III malocclusion patient, the AGP night guard uses; 1) one AGP, 2) one special retention piece of the current application to receive maxillary guidance component of the AGP and 3) one regular retention piece to apply mandibular guidance component of the AGP.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An “AGP (Anterior Guidance Package) night guard” for a bruxism patient with or without a malocclusion is comprised of; 1) one Anterior Guidance Package, which is comprised of a maxillary guidance component and a mandibular guidance component and 2) two special retention pieces, each one has an anteriorly protruded shelf that locates on the most anterior aspect of the retention piece and in which one protruded shelf receives the maxillary guidance component of the AGP and the other protruded shelf receives the mandibular guidance component of the AGP. 
     
     
         2 . An “AGP (Anterior Guidance Package) night guard” for a bruxism patient with or without a malocclusion of  claim 1 , wherein the protruded shelf which can be adjusted vertically between the open side of groove that molds to the teeth, down to the closed side of the groove of the retention piece locates on the most anterior aspect thereof. 
     
     
         3 . An “Anterior Guidance Package (AGP) night guard” for a bruxism patient having a severe Class II malocclusion is comprised of: 1) one Anterior Guidance Package (AGP), which is comprised of a maxillary guidance component and a mandibular guidance component, 2) one special retention piece which has an anteriorly protruded shelf that locates on the most anterior aspect of the retention piece to receive mandibular guidance component of the AGP, and 3) one regular retention piece to apply maxillary guidance component of the AGP. 
     
     
         4 . An “Anterior Guidance Package (AGP) night guard” for a bruxism patient having severe Class III malocclusion is comprised of; 1) one Anterior Guidance Package (AGP) which is comprised of a maxillary guidance component and a mandibular guidance component, 2) one special retention piece which has an anteriorly protruded shelf that locates on the most anterior aspect of the retention piece to receive maxillary guidance component of the AGP and 3) one regular retention piece to apply mandibular guidance component of the AGP.
