Toothbrush head
Abstract
A toothbrush has a removable end cap at its free end area directed away from the bristles, which end cap closes off an inner space of a grip element. The end cap accommodates an electrical control element, in particular a potentiometer, which can be adjusted via an adjustment element arranged rotatably on the end cap. The toothbrush also comprises an electrical power consumption unit, in particular an electric motor, which is designed to set the bristles in vibration. The energy supply from an energy reservoir arranged in the interior to the electrical power consumption unit can be adjusted continuously by means of the control element, as a result of which the vibration intensity of the bristles can be steplessly adjusted.

a bristle carrier comprising a hard component; the bristle carrier having a substantially flat front side; the substantially flat front side defining a treatment region comprising bristle clusters and additional rubber-elastic elements; wherein the bristle clusters protrude from receiving holes in the hard component; wherein the rubber-elastic elements are fastened directly on the front side of the brush head; and wherein the cross-sectional area of the rubber-elastic elements at their fastened end portions and at their free end portions is substantially larger than in the medium portions of the rubber-elastic elements.
2 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements comprise generally the shape of an hourglass.
3 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements are integrally molded directly on the front side of the brush head.
4 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements comprise, at least at their fastened end portions, a greater cross-sectional area than the bristle clusters.
5 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements also comprise at their free end portions a greater cross-sectional area than the bristle clusters.
6 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the bristle clusters are anchored in the hard component in the peripheral region of the bristle carrier.
7 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein at least a number of islands of soft material are applied to the bristle carrier from which islands the rubber-elastic elements protrude.
8 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a soft material covering is applied to the bristle carrier from which the rubber-elastic elements protrude and through which the bristle clusters protrude.
9 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the alignments of the bristle clusters and the rubber-elastic elements are at least approximately the same.
10 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the bristle clusters protrude beyond the rubber-elastic elements.
11 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements have an uneven contact surface at their free end portions.
12 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the uneven contact surface is formed as a serrated surface.
13 . A toothbrush head comprising:
a bristle carrier comprising a hard component; the bristle carrier having a substantially flat front side; the substantially flat front side defining a treatment region comprising bristle clusters and additional rubber-elastic elements; wherein the bristle clusters protrude from receiving holes in the hard component; wherein the rubber-elastic elements are fastened directly on the front side of the brush head; and wherein the rubber-elastic elements comprise a ball-like thickening at their free end portions.
14 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 13 , wherein massaging and cleaning elements extend from the ball-like thickening.
15 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 13 , wherein at least one bristle cluster is arranged between two rubber-elastic elements.
16 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 13 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements have an uneven contact surface at their free end portions.
17 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the uneven contact surface is formed as a serrated surface.
18 . A toothbrush head comprising:
a bristle carrier comprising a hard component; the bristle carrier having a substantially flat front side; the substantially flat front side defining a treatment region comprising bristle clusters and additional rubber-elastic elements; wherein the bristle clusters protrude from receiving holes in the hard component; wherein the rubber-elastic elements are fastened directly on the front side of the brush head; and wherein the rubber-elastic elements have a stamp-like thickening at their free end portions.
19 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 18 , wherein massaging and cleaning elements extend from the stamp-like thickening.
20 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 18 , wherein at least one bristle cluster is arranged between two rubber-elastic elements.
21 . The toothbrush head as claimed in claim 18 , wherein the rubber-elastic elements have an uneven contact surface at their free end portions.
