Abstract
At least one exemplary device includes a tubular mesh enclosure formed from a mesh material having a nominal opening size of less than 0.5 inches, a ratio of a length of the mesh enclosure to a diameter of the mesh enclosure greater than 40, having an opposing pair of ends, at least one of the ends sealed, the enclosure surrounding a filling.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A method for pneumatically forming a soil erosion control device comprising:
pneumatically discharging a filling from a pneumatic blower hose into a mesh tube formed from a mesh material having an opening size sufficient to allow soil to readily pass into the mesh tube, a ratio of a length of the mesh tube to a diameter of the mesh tube greater than 40, an external surface of said mesh tube formed by said mesh material.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling and the mesh tube operatively retain soil particles within the erosion control device.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling strains runoff that enters the soil erosion control device.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein mesh material has an opening size sufficient to allow plant roots to grow through the mesh material.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises organic matter.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises plant-originated matter.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises animal-originated matter.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises compost.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises mulch.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises clay.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises gravel.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises sand.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises soil.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises wood chips.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises peat.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises sawdust.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises agricultural waste products.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises manure.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises plant seeds.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises spores.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises at least one rhizosphere.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises plugs.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises sprigs.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises fertilizer.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises a flocculant.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises a chemical binder.
. The method of claim 1 , wherein the filling comprises a water absorbent.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
