Claims

Abstract

There is provided a novel polymer, a composition containing the polymer, and a novel adhesive composition containing the polymer from which a cured film having desired properties is obtained. A polymer comprising a structural unit of Formula (1): wherein Q is a bivalent group, R 1 is a C 1-10 alkylene group, a C 2-10 alkenylene group or C 2-10 alkynylene group, a C 6-14 arylene group, a C 4-10 cyclic alkylene group, etc., or a polymer comprising a structural unit of Formula (6): wherein Q 4 is an allyl group, a vinyl group, an epoxy group, or a glycidyl group, and R 5 is a bivalent organic group having a main chain containing only carbon atom or at least one of oxygen atom, nitrogen atom and sulfur atom in addition to carbon atom, a composition comprising the polymer, and an adhesive composition comprising the polymer and a solvent.

         R 1  is a C 4-8  alkylene group, or a group of Formula (4) or Formula (5):

 the alkyl group is a methyl group in which at least one hydrogen atom is optionally substituted with a fluorine atom.   
     
     
         7 . A composition comprising the polymer according to  claim 1 . 
     
     
         8 . The composition according to  claim 7 , further comprising a surfactant. 
     
     
         9 . The composition according to  claim 7 , further comprising a thermal acid generator. 
     
     
         10 . The composition according to  claim 7 , further comprising a solvent. 
     
     
         11 . The composition according to  claim 7 , wherein
 the composition is used for an adhesive, formation of an insulating film, or formation of a resist underlayer film.   
     
     
         12 . The composition according to  claim 10 , wherein
 the composition is an insulating ink.   
     
     
         13 . An adhesive composition comprising:
 a polymer having a structural unit of Formula (6):   
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         {where Q 4  is an allyl group, a vinyl group, an epoxy group, or a glycidyl group, and R 5  is a C 4-8  bivalent hydrocarbon group or a group of Formula (7):

         an organic solvent.

 the alkyl group is a methyl group in which at least one hydrogen atom is optionally substituted with a fluorine atom.   
     
     
         18 . A composition comprising the polymer according to  claim 2 .
