Abstract

The present invention relates to a new method of production of cast polyamides.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A mixture that is stable in storage, comprising:
 at least one isocyanate, isocyanurate, biuret, allophanate, uretdione and/or carbodiimide as activator in a concentration up to 5 wt % and   at least one lactam of general formula   
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         where R represents an alkylene group with 3 to 13 carbon atoms. 
       
     
     
         2 . The mixture according to  claim 1 , wherein the activator is at least one biuret and/or isocyanate. 
     
     
         3 . A catalyst mixture that is solid at temperatures of up to 80° C. and stable in storage, comprising:
 at least one catalyst in a concentration up to 5 wt % and at least one lactam of general formula 
 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
         where R represents an alkylene group with 3 to 13 carbon atoms. 
       
     
     
         4 . The catalyst mixture according to  claim 3 , wherein, the catalyst is a lactam-magnesium halide, alkali-alumo dilactamate, alkali-metal and/or alkaline-earth-metal lactamate.
