Personal Status Indicating Bracelet

Abstract

A personal status indicating bracelet includes a panel having a front side and a back side. A tether is attached to the panel and forms a closed loop with the panel. The front side of the panel has a plurality of indicia markings thereon. A covering is mounted on the panel and is movable on the panel. The covering has an aperture extending therethrough. The aperture is aligned with one of the indicia markings such that only a selected one of the indicia markings is viewable through the aperture in the covering.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A bracelet assembly configured for indicating a relationship status of a person, said assembly comprising:
 a panel having a front side and a back side;   a tether being attached to said panel and forming a closed loop with said panel;   said front side of said panel having a plurality of indicia markings thereon; and   a covering being mounted on said panel and being movable on said panel, said covering having an aperture extending therethrough, said aperture being alignable with one of said indicia markings such that only a selected one of said indicia markings is viewable through said aperture in said covering.   
     
     
         2 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 said tether having a break therein to define a first section and a second section; and   a coupler releasably coupling together said first and second sections.   
     
     
         3 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising said indicia markings being aligned with each other along a line extending between first and second edges of a perimeter edge of said panel. 
     
     
         4 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising said indicia markings including a letter S, a letter T, a letter C, and a question mark. 
     
     
         5 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising said covering comprising a pair of flanges positioned in elongated slots extending in third and fourth edges of said perimeter edge such that said flanges are slidable along said slots. 
     
     
         6 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising said back side of said panel being arcuate wherein said panel is configured for contouring to a person's wrist. 
     
     
         7 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising said panel being comprised of a rigid material. 
     
     
         8 . The assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising said tether being comprised of a resiliently stretchable material. 
     
     
         9 . A bracelet assembly configured for indicating a relationship status of a person, said assembly comprising:
 a panel having a front side, a back side and a perimeter edge, said perimeter including a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge, said first and second edges being positioned opposite of each other;   a tether being attached to said panel and forming a closed loop with said panel, said tether configured for being positioned around a person's wrist, said tether having a break therein to define a first section and a second section, a coupler releasably coupling together said first and second sections;   said front side of said panel having a plurality of indicia markings thereon, said markings being aligned with each other along a line extending between said first and second edges, said indicia markings including a letter S, a letter T, a letter C and a question mark; and   a covering being mounted on said panel and being movable on said panel, said covering having an aperture extending therethrough, said aperture being alignable with one of said indicia markings such that only a selected one of said indicia markings is viewable through said covering, said covering comprising a pair of flanges positioned in elongated slots extending in said third and fourth edges such that said flanges are slidable along said slots.
