Abstract
An oblong orbital exercising machine includes a main frame, an upright post mounted on the main frame, two swinging handles connected with the upright post, a cycle movement mechanism mounted on the main frame, two shafts secured on the cycle movement mechanism, two adjusting units mounted on the shafts, two links connected with the swinging handles and the adjusting units, and two pedals mounted on the links. Each of the adjusting units includes a fixing member mounted on the respective shaft and having a plurality of adjusting holes, an adjusting member juxtaposed to the fixing member, and a positioning member mounted on the adjusting member and locked in one of the adjusting holes. Thus, the adjusting member is rotated relative to the fixing member, so that each of the links is driven to change its position and to adjust its movement trace.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An exercising machine, comprising:
a main frame; an upright post mounted on a front portion of the main frame; two swinging handles each having an upper end pivotally connected with the upright post; a cycle movement mechanism mounted on a rear portion of the main frame; two shafts respectively secured on two opposite sides of the cycle movement mechanism; two adjusting units each mounted on a respective one of the shafts; two links each having a first end pivotally connected with a lower end of a respective one of the swinging handles and a second end pivotally connected with a respective one of the adjusting units; and two pedals each mounted on a respective one of the links; wherein: each of the adjusting units includes: a fixing member mounted on the respective shaft and having a surface provided with a plurality of adjusting holes; an adjusting member juxtaposed to the fixing member; and a positioning member mounted on the adjusting member and adjustably locked in one of the adjusting holes of the fixing member.
2 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein:
the fixing member of each of the adjusting units has a disk shape; and the adjusting member of each of the adjusting units has a disk shape.
3 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein the positioning member of each of the adjusting units is pin, latch or bolt.
4 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein the adjusting member of each of the adjusting units is rotatably mounted on the respective shaft so that the adjusting member of each of the adjusting units is rotatable relative to the fixing member.
5 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein:
each of the adjusting units further includes a connecting member mounted on the adjusting member; and the second end of each of the links is provided with a pivot portion pivotally connected with the connecting member of the respective adjusting unit.
6 . The exercising machine of claim 5 , wherein:
the connecting member of each of the adjusting units is a rod and is eccentrically secured on the adjusting member; and the pivot portion of each of the links is a mounting tube and is mounted on the connecting member of the respective adjusting unit.
7 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein the shafts misalign with each other and are located at different positions of the cycle movement mechanism.
8 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein each of the shafts is eccentrically mounted on the cycle movement mechanism.
9 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein the fixing member of each of the adjusting units is fixed on the respective shaft.
10 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein the adjusting member of each of the adjusting units is pivotally connected with the second end of the respective link.
11 . The exercising machine of claim 1 , wherein the adjusting member of each of the adjusting units is coaxial with the fixing member.
