Baby food pouch with spout and zip lock

Abstract

The invention relates to a disposable baby food pouch with spout and zip lock feature, having a function for storing, transporting, and serving baby food. The food pouch promotes expeditious storage and serving of baby food.

What is claimed is:  
     
         1 . A disposable, portable and reusable baby food pouch comprising:
 two flexible plastic sheets sealed to each other on both sides at the periphery, defining an opening on the top;   a collapsible horizontal bottom gusset consisting of an expandable, flexible plastic sheet welded to the pouch's side walls to impart strength and support to the base of the pouch;   an outlet spout with a twist off cap;   a tamper proof zip lock on the top for opening and resealing the pouch;   
     
     
         2 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the pouch is utilized to store, refrigerate, microwave and serve semi-solid and viscous baby foods. 
     
     
         3 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the pouch is pre-sterilized during manufacturing, thus providing a sterile chamber for baby food contents. 
     
     
         4 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 3 , wherein the pouch is BPA, Phthalate and PVC free, said pouch possess a generous capacity to serve single meals to the babies; said pouch comes in a variety of sizes. 
     
     
         5 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the surface of the pouch bears name and date labels along with a measuring guide running on both sides of the pouch. 
     
     
         6 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the pouch can be re-used or disposed as per the user needs. 
     
     
         7 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the spout may be utilized to attach an ergonomic baby feeding spoon, thus providing a mess free solution to baby feeding. 
     
     
         8 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 7 , wherein the said pouch collapses upon squeezing and thereby dispense the food contents from the spout into the baby feeding spoon. 
     
     
         9 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein a hang hole is provided at a corner on the top of baby food pouch, said hang hole may be used to conveniently attach the pouch to a pram. 
     
     
         10 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the style of bottom gusset is based upon the net weight that a pouch can hold. 
     
     
         11 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the bottom gusset is in the form of a round bottom gusset. 
     
     
         12 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the bottom gusset is in the form of a K-seal gusset. 
     
     
         13 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the bottom gusset is in the form of a plough bottom gusset. 
     
     
         14 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the zipper is hermetically sealed upon closing the pouch. 
     
     
         15 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 14 , wherein the zipper is attached to a slider, said slider is used to open and close the mouth of the pouch. 
     
     
         16 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the corners are perfectly rounded to prevent injury to the user. 
     
     
         17 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the pouch can be re-used and cleaned with warm soapy water, said pouch can be sterilized with electric steam or a microwave sterilizer. 
     
     
         18 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 1 , wherein the pouch is side gusseted, allowing it to hold more quantity of food. 
     
     
         19 . A baby food pouch according to  claim 18 , wherein the side gusseted pouch is quad sealed at the corners to impart overall strength to the pouch.
