Advertising apparatus

Abstract

An advertising apparatus 10 including a generally flat base 12 and a broad face 14 which forms an acute angle 16 with the generally flat base 12 . Further, the broad face 14 includes several display-portions 20, 22 , and 18 which, in one non-limiting embodiment of the invention, are programmable. In one non-limiting embodiment, the apparatus may include a selectively depressible alarm switch 100.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 ) A television controller comprising first portion which selectively controls the operation of a television; and a second display portion which received advertising information and which selectively display said advertising information. 
     
     
         2 ) A television controller comprising a first portion which selectively controls the operation of a television; a display portion which is coupled, to said first portions; and a portion which dynamically communicates information to said display portion effective to cause said display portion to display said dynamically communicated information. 
     
     
         3 ) A device having a signal generating portion which selectively generates a television signal which is effective to tune a television to a channel; a switch; a controller assembly which is coupled to said switch and to said signal generating portion and which, upon a touching of said switch, causes said signal generating portion to generate said television signal; a display portion which is coupled to said controller, and wherein said controller receives information and causes said information to be selectively displayed upon said display portion and wherein said information comprises the address of a hotel. 
     
     
         4 ) device of  claim 3  wherein said information comprises the said rate of said hotel. 
     
     
         5 ) device of  claim 4  wherein said information comprises the identity of a plurality of television channels. 
     
     
         6 ) device of  claim 5  wherein said identity of said identity of said plurality of television channels and said address of said hotel are simultaneously displayed upon said display portion.
