Garment to Carry Multiple Leg Warmers

Abstract

A garment worn on the leg that carries two or more leg warmers, each leg warmer held at an interval from the other leg warmers, with each leg warmer partially inside and partially outside of the garment. When worn with an ankle boot, the garment gives the appearance that the wearer is wearing a combination of boots having differing heights on the wearer's leg, with each boot fitting into a leg warmer below the boot, and each leg warmer fitting into a boot below the leg warmer.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A garment operative to hold a plurality of leg warmers on a wearer's leg, each leg warmer held at an interval from said other leg warmers, with at least one leg warmer partially inside and partially outside of the garment. 
     
     
         2 . The garment of  claim 1 , with a plurality of overlapping elements, enabling the wearing of at least one leg warmer with its lower end inside said overlap of elements of said garment, and the upper end of said leg warmer outside of said garment. 
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 1 , having a length selected to extend from near the wearer's ankle to near the wearer's knee. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein said leg warmers are removable. 
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein said leg warmers comprise a knit material. 
     
     
         6 . The garment of  claim 1 , further comprising straps used to adjust the tightness of said garment. 
     
     
         7 . The garment of  claim 1 , further comprising an expandable gusset to conform said garment to the wearer's leg. 
     
     
         8 . The garment of  claim 1 , further comprising a closure selected from zippers, buttons and loops, hooks and eyes, hook and loop fasteners, snaps, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         9 . The garment of  claim 1 , further comprising a shoe. 
     
     
         10 . A garment operative to create an appearance that a wearer is wearing a plurality of boots, of differing heights, with each taller boot disappearing into a next lower-height boot, wherein:
 a leg warmer extends from within each boot to surround a portion of the exterior of a successive boot, in an alternating repetition of boots and leg warmers.   
     
     
         11 . The garment of  claim 10 , wherein said garment has a length selected to extend from near a wearer's ankle to near the wearer's knee. 
     
     
         12 . The garment of  claim 10 , wherein said leg warmers are removable. 
     
     
         13 . The garment of  claim 10 , wherein said leg warmers are made of knit material. 
     
     
         14 . The garment of  claim 10 , further comprising straps for adjusting the tightness of said garment. 
     
     
         15 . The garment of  claim 10 , further comprising an expandable gusset for conforming said garment to the wearer's leg. 
     
     
         16 . The garment of  claim 10 , further comprising a closure selected from zippers, buttons and loops, hooks and eyes, hook and loop fasteners, snaps, and combinations thereof. 
     
     
         17 . The garment of  claim 10 , further comprising a shoe.
