Information processing device, information processing method, content transfer system and computer program

Abstract

An information processing device is provided that performs content transfer with a content recording device on which is stored content that has content identification information identifying the content. The information processing device includes: an identification information acquisition portion that acquires, from the content recording device, the content identification information for the content recorded in the content recording device; a display control portion that groups a list of the content identification information acquired by the identification information acquisition portion for each of a content type acquired from the content identification information and displays the list; and a sort control portion that sorts, for each of the content types, the list of the content identification information displayed by the display control portion, based on the content attribute information acquired from the content identification information.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information processing apparatus for receiving contents from a content storage apparatus, each of the contents including content identification information identifying one of content types of music, video or book, the information processing apparatus comprising:
 circuitry configured to   retrieve the content identification information that matches with a search keyword for each of the content types from the contents storage apparatus;   display a search result that lists the retrieved content identification information that matches with the search keyword for each of the content types; and   sort the search result by content attribution information associated with the content identification information for each of the content types.   
     
     
         2 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a content recorder that records the content that has the content identification information; wherein   the circuitry is configured to group the content recorded in the content recorder for each of content types acquired from the content identification information as a list and display the list.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the circuitry is configured to receive device identification information from the content storage apparatus, and, based on the device identification information, determine whether to perform one of sorting the list of content identification information for each of the content type groups and sorting all of the contents.   
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the circuitry is configured to receive device identification information from the content storage apparatus, and, based on the device identification information, determine the contents that are to be displayed for each content type.   
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the circuitry is configured to display content for which attribute information is the same in groups of attribute information, for at least one of the content types.   
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein a display order of a list for each content type displayed by the circuitry is changed by a drag and drop operation. 
     
     
         7 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein when the circuitry sorts a list of the content identification information designating content attribute information that is not shared, the circuitry sorts any content type that does not have the designated attribute information using other content attribute information. 
     
     
         8 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the circuitry instantly displays a list of the content identification information for content that has the content identification information that partially matches specified conditions.   
     
     
         9 . A content storage apparatus for transmitting contents to an information processing apparatus, the content storage apparatus comprising:
 a content recorder that records the contents, each of the contents including content identification information identifying one of content types of music, video or book, and   circuitry configured to   transmit the content identification information that matches with a search keyword for each of the content types input to the information processing apparatus to the information processing apparatus so that the information processing apparatus displays a search results that lists the content identification information that matches with the search keyword for each of the content types, and   transmit content attribution information associated with the content identification information to the information processing apparatus so that the information processing apparatus sorts the search result by the content attribution information for each of the content types.   
     
     
         10 . An information processing method for receiving contents from a content storage apparatus, each of the contents including content identification information identifying one of content types of music, video or book, the information processing method comprising:
 retrieving the content identification information that matches with a search keyword for each of the content types from the contents storage apparatus by circuitry;   displaying a search result that lists the retrieved content identification information that matches with the search keyword for each of the content types; and   sorting the search result by content attribution information associated with the content identification information for each of the content types.   
     
     
         11 . The information processing method according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 recording the content that has the content identification information;   grouping the content recorded by the recording for each of content types acquired from the content identification information as a list; and   displaying the list.   
     
     
         12 . The information processing method according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 receiving device identification information from the content storage apparatus; and   determining whether to perform one of sorting the list of content identification information for each of the content type groups and sorting all of the contents based on the device identification information.   
     
     
         13 . The information processing method according to  claim 10 , further comprising:
 receiving device identification information from the content storage apparatus; and   determining the contents that are to be displayed for each content type based on the device identification information.   
     
     
         14 . An information processing system for transmitting and receiving contents from a content storage apparatus to an information processing apparatus, each of the contents including content identification information identifying one of content types of music, video or book, the information processing system comprising:
 an information processing apparatus comprising:   first circuitry configured to   retrieve the content identification information that matches with a search keyword for each of the content types from the contents storage apparatus;   display a search result that lists the retrieved content identification information that matches with the search keyword for each of the content types; and   sort the search result by content attribution information associated with the content identification information for each of the content types; and   a content storage apparatus comprising:   a content recorder that records the contents, each of the contents including the content identification information; and   second circuitry configured to   transmit the content identification information that matches with the search keyword for each of the content types input to the information processing apparatus to the information processing apparatus, and   transmit the content attribution information to the information processing apparatus.   
     
     
         15 . The information processing system according to  claim 14 , the information processing apparatus further comprising:
 a content recorder that records the content that has the content identification information; wherein   the first circuitry is configured to group the content recorded in the content recorder for each of content types acquired from the content identification information as a list and display the list.   
     
     
         16 . The information processing system according to  claim 14 , wherein
 the first circuitry is configured to receive device identification information from the content storage apparatus, and, based on the device identification information, determine whether to perform one of sorting the list of content identification information for each of the content type groups and sorting all of the contents.   
     
     
         17 . The information processing system according to  claim 14 , wherein
 the first circuitry is configured to receive device identification information from the content storage apparatus, and, based on the device identification information, determine the contents that are to be displayed for each content type.   
     
     
         18 . A non-transitory computer readable medium including executable instructions, which when executed by a computer cause a computer to execute a method for receiving contents from a content storage apparatus, each of the contents including content identification information identifying one of content types of music, video or book, the method comprising:
 retrieving the content identification information that matches with a search keyword for each of the content types from the contents storage apparatus;   displaying a search result that lists the retrieved content identification information that matches with the search keyword for each of the content types; and   sorting the search result by content attribution information associated with the content identification information for each of the content types.   
     
     
         19 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according to  claim 18 , the method further comprising:
 recording the content that has the content identification information;   grouping the content recorded by the recording for each of content types acquired from the content identification information as a list; and   displaying the list.   
     
     
         20 . The non-transitory computer readable medium according to  claim 18 , the method further comprising:
 receiving device identification information from the content storage apparatus; and   determining whether to perform one of sorting the list of content identification information for each of the content type groups and sorting all of the contents based on the device identification information.
