Abstract

Processes, machines, articles of manufacture and compositions of matter required to construct a habitable structure comprised of a cementitious product, preferably autoclaved aerated concrete (“AAC”), formed in unique blocks, panels and beams. This results in an extremely environmentally friendly habitable dwelling, residential or commercial, which, due to the resultant synergy of embodiments, when compared to a similar structure employing prior art and/or current industry's standard materials and methods of construction, is structurally superior and simultaneously yields substantial savings in labor, time and costs.

1 . A component for a cementitious structure comprising:
 an insert having a first side and a second side joined at an angle and a third curved side;   said angle being less than 180 degrees;   each of said first and second sides having edges remote from the junction between said first and second sides;   said third side extending between said edges and curving inwardly toward said angle junction; and   said insert being configured for placement in a pair of converging utility slots and being operative to provide a curved path for said insert.   
     
     
         2 . A roofing system for a structure having a roof with at least one hip and/or at least one valley, said roofing system comprising:
 an even number of roofing panels, each of said roofing panels having one thirty degree corner;   said roofing panels being disposed at a 12:12 pitch; and   each pair of roofing panels cut from a single sheet of cementitious material and installed in a manner such that no waste product is produced.   
     
     
         3 . The roofing system according to  claim 2  wherein each roofing panel is attached to a ridge beam with a fastener. 
     
     
         4 . The roofing system of  claim 2  wherein said roofing panels are precast with corresponding 30-degree and 60-degree angles to match roofing components and maximize materials usage. 
     
     
         5 . A fastener for cementitious components comprising:
 an elongated member of substantially uniform diameter;   a plurality of metal flanges positioned on said elongated member and angled so as to function like screw threads;   each of said metal flanges having an inner end attached to said elongated member and an outer end; and   said metal flanges being wider and thicker at said inner end and then narrowing with a receding leading edge and being thinner at said outer end.   
     
     
         6 . The fastener according to  claim 5  wherein mortar is dispensed around said elongated member. 
     
     
         7 . The fastener according to  claim 5  wherein a pointed end is disposed at one end of said elongated member. 
     
     
         8 . The fastener according to  claim 5  wherein said elongated member is hollow. 
     
     
         9 . The fastener according to  claim 5  wherein said elongated member is solid. 
     
     
         10 . The fastener according to  claim 5  wherein a space void of material surrounds said elongated member. 
     
     
         11 . A horizontally-positioned structural system for a structure having an exterior wall surface comprising:
 a plurality of cementitious floor panels;   each of said floor panels having an end and a groove manufactured or cut into said floor panel with the grooves of adjacent panels being aligned;   a reinforcing bar and mortar disposed in said aligned grooves creating a bond/ring beam which is integrated into said floor; and   the ends of said floor panels forming a portion of said exterior wall surface.   
     
     
         12 . The flooring system of  claim 11  wherein said flooring system is attached to a cementitious support block with a screw that is countersunk in said groove. 
     
     
         13 . The flooring system of  claim 11  wherein said flooring system is attached to a cementitious support with a fastener that has a portion exposed in said groove and can be used as a tie for rebar and mortar thereby creating additional compounding reinforcement. 
     
     
         14 . The structural system of  claim 11  wherein said system is a floor. 
     
     
         15 . The structural system of  claim 11  wherein said system is a roof.
