Remote access management systems

Abstract

Computer systems and methods relating to operating medical electronic records software application remotely using at least one mobile computing device. Also, computer systems and methods relating to operating medical practice management software applications remotely using at least one mobile computing device.

         7 . A system for remotely accessing and managing medical related information via a mobile phone device, the system comprising:
 a processor; and   a memory storing program instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
 provide to the mobile phone device a login screen; 
 receive from the mobile phone device an access request including user authentication information; 
 selecting a computer system hosting a medical related software application based on the user authentication information; 
 receiving from the mobile phone device a request for managing the medial related information; and 
 forwarding, over a wide area network, the received request for processing by the medical related software application of the selected computer system, wherein the medical related software application provides an output in response to the processing, the output being displayed by the mobile phone device for user manipulation on the mobile phone device. 
   
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 7 , wherein the request is for viewing, adding, or editing patient information via the mobile phone device.
