Abstract
A polishing device includes a driving member and a polishing head. The polishing head is connected to the driving member and includes a rotating body made of metallic material, a buffering pad, and an abrasive paper. The buffering pad is made of plastic material and is fixedly assembled to the rotating body. The abrasive paper is fixed to a surface of the buffering pad opposite to the rotating body.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A polishing device, comprising a driving member and a polishing head connected to the driving member, the polishing head comprising:
a rotating body made of metallic material; a buffering pad made of plastic material and fixedly assembled to the rotating body; and an abrasive paper fixed to a side of the buffering pad opposite to the rotating body.
2 . The polishing device of claim 1 , wherein the polishing head further comprises a plurality of fixing members, the rotating body defines a plurality of fixing holes therein, the buffering pad defines a plurality of stepped holes therein, the plurality of fixing members extend through the plurality of fixing holes and the plurality of stepped holes to assemble the buffering pad to the rotating pad.
3 . The polishing device of claim 1 , wherein the buffering pad is made of rubber.
4 . The polishing device of claim 3 , wherein the buffering pad is made of polyurethane rubber.
5 . The polishing device of claim 1 , wherein the driving member comprises a driving body and a rotating shaft connected to the driving body, and the polishing head is assembled to the rotating shaft away from the driving body.
6 . The polishing device of claim 5 , wherein the driving member further comprises an elastic coupler, the rotating shaft interconnects the elastic coupler and the driving body, and the polishing head is assembled to the elastic coupler away from the driving body.
7 . The polishing device of claim 1 , wherein the abrasive paper is a gummed abrasive paper with adhesive on a reverse face contacting the buffering pad, and the abrasive paper has a diameter equal to that of the buffering pad.
8 . A polishing device, comprising a driving member and a polishing head connected to the driving mebmer, the polishing head comprising:
a rotating body made of metallic material; a buffering pad made of plastic material and fixedly assembled to the rotating body; and an abrasive paper having a diameter equal to that of the buffering pad, and pasted to the buffering pad opposite to the rotating body.
9 . The polishing device of claim 8 , wherein the polishing device further comprises a plurality of fixing members, the rotating body defines a plurality of fixing holes therein, the buffering pad defines a plurality of stepped holes therein, and the plurality of fixing members extend through the plurality of fixing holes and the plurality of stepped holes to assemble the buffering pad to the rotating pad.
10 . The polishing device of claim 8 , wherein the buffering pad is made of rubber.
11 . The polishing device of claim 10 , wherein the buffering pad is made of polyurethane rubber.
12 . The polishing device of claim 8 , wherein the driving member comprises a driving body and a rotating shaft connected to the driving body, and the polishing head is assembled to the rotating shaft away from the driving body.
13 . The polishing device of claim 12 , wherein the driving member further comprises an elastic coupler, the rotating shaft interconnects the elastic coupler and the driving body, and the polishing head is assembled to the elastic coupler away from the driving body.
14 . The polishing device of claim 8 , wherein the abrasive paper is a gummed abrasive paper with adhesive on a reverse face contacting the buffering pad, and the abrasive paper is pasted to the buffering pad by the adhesive.
15 . A polishing device, comprising a driving member and a polishing head connected to the driving member, the polishing head comprising:
a rotating body made of metallic material; and a buffering pad made of plastic material and fixedly assembled to the rotating body.
16 . The polishing device of claim 15 , wherein the polishing device further comprises a plurality of fixing members, the rotating body defines a plurality of fixing holes therein, the buffering pad defines a plurality of stepped holes therein, and the plurality of fixing members extend through the plurality of fixing holes and the plurality of stepped holes to assemble the buffering pad to the rotating pad.
17 . The polishing device of claim 15 , wherein the buffering pad is made of rubber.
18 . The polishing device of claim 17 , wherein the buffering pad is made of polyurethane rubber.
19 . The polishing device of claim 15 , wherein the driving member comprises a driving body and a rotating shaft connected to the driving body, and the polishing head is assembled to the rotating shaft away from the driving body.
20 . The polishing device of claim 19 , wherein the driving member further comprises an elastic coupler, the rotating shaft interconnects the elastic coupler and the driving body, and the polishing head is assembled to the elastic coupler away from the driving body.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
