Abstract

MF (Magnet Football) board game is a simulation of the real game of football. Decorated magnets are used to simulate football players for offense and defense players playing under the pressure of a digital game clock timer. Defense player is timed by digital clock timer to strategically create barriers using decorated defense magnets creating barriers within time allowed under the digital clock timer, once the timer is exhausted unused defense magnets may not be used for play result in weaker defense barrier. Timed by the digital clock timer offense player is to maneuver with finger(s) on top of offense magnet and direct the offense magnet avoiding being tackled by defense magnets (tackled is when defense magnets attracts to offense magnets) result in a down. MF has three methods to score points, touchdown, field goal kick, and two point conversion.

17 . In a game playing method, the steps comprising:

18 . The method of claim 1 wherein the game starts with said erasable score card or non erasable score card where players or audience of the game at an option can make wages prior to starting the game and agreeing to the point spread system and the over and under point spread system as to where they want to set it at and both players will agree to it, players or audience of the game can predict which player is the favorite or the underdog for example if player 1 is the favorite and player 1 is given a wager at negative seven, that means player 1 must beat player 2 by eight points to win the game and player 2 being the underdog, player 2 must win outright or stay under eight points for wager to win the wage; over and under scoring is a combined total of the scores of both teams combined, for example if over is 43 and under is 43, the player that claims the over spread of −43 needs to win by 44 or more for player 1 and player 2 scores combined, the player that claimed the under needs to have the score outcome of both teams being under 43 points to win that wager; the score card also keeps tracks of the game score in addition to being able to keep track of how many turnovers known as fumbled or interception which could compromise the winning outcome of the game because fumbled or interception is a lose a turn to score from being offensive player to defensive player, wager at an option gets to wage on what type of rewards to redeem after winning the wager by making the loser of the wager pay for food, monetary compensation or simply just for bragging rights for fun by marking the rewarding options of food who treats who, money wager, or just for fun bragging right having these option makes the game more exciting yet waging can be an option part of the game yet not mandatory; interactive game clock starts out by being sync to one another to mirror each other as paired timers, whereas game clock sets to fifteen minutes, the defensive game clock/time out clock and offensive clock set to be timed the players as each team controls the said clock by pushing start, stop, reset in accordance to the game being played; the game consist of four total quarters with each quarter being fifteen minutes, during the first quarter either player can call out and flip the coin toss of decorated coin to claim heads or tails, the winner of the call of heads or tails as the coin hits and settles on playing surface area or ground gets to decide on which player is the offensive player whereas the other player would be the defensive player, once the game is ready to be played after determining who is the offensive or defensive player, either player can start the game clock to allow the clock to run down then the defensive player would have a set time in accordance to the game clock to create barriers with multiple decorated defensive magnets strategically placing it one by one on surface of game board behind the ten yard line or negotiated amongst player where barrier starts at surface playing area with each magnet being a minimum of one magnet apart where the defensive player is pressured playing under the game clock timer where the defensive player's concentration may be thrown off on strategic placement of said barrier playing under the pressure of the defensive game clock timer; after the defensive player clock timer expires and game clock alerts will go off at zero seconds, remaining decorated defensive magnets not used on surface of playing area cannot be used for that game play, then offensive player would use game piece decorated magnet gap checker to position it on top or between each defensive magnets to measure if barrier decorated magnets meets the minimum spacing for play, if the magnets are too close, offensive player may remove it from play result in weakening the defensive decorated magnets barriers, followed by defensive player pressing the offensive timer to push the offensive player to start maneuvering the offensive decorated magnet or one of other alternating decorated offensive magnet through the defensive decorated magnets barriers attempting to score a touchdown when offensive player guides the said offensive magnet with one finger or fingers on top pressing down on offensive decorated magnet to its destination of defensive players end zone scoring a touchdown of six points avoiding any defensive barrier decorated magnets from attracting to the offense decorated magnets, if decorated defensive magnets attracts to offensive decorated magnets, it's a tackle or down; should the offensive player lifts finger or fingers while maneuvering the said decorated offensive magnet, penalty will result in a automatic down; when player is tackled a down marker is used to be placed along the side parallel of the center playing area where the magnetic strip are stationed and labeled with two sets of numeric numbering magnets from one to three one set per each player for number of time outs and numbering magnets one to four for number of downs a player incurs by turning over the said numbering magnets in accordance to the time out being used or when a down takes place; there are a total of two half times with three time outs per each half time, if time outs are not used then it will expire within each half time and cannot be carried over to the other second half of the game; when time out is utilized by players to take a short break or re-strategize, the player that calls time out shall push the stop button on the game clock and this will stop the clock from running down, while clock is stopped, either player shall immediately press the defensive/time out button where time out is limited timed by the game clock, either player will push the start button on the game clock and game will resume after the time out clock expires; while the game clock is running down, players either offensive or defensive player would repetitiously go back and forth on using their defensive or offensive game timer to try to score as many points as possible before the end of fourth quarter, should the game end up being a tie at the end of fourth quarter, players are to add one additional quarter of fifteen minutes to the game and the first player to score either a touchdown or a field goal kick settles the tie and wins the game; Offensive player must roll a twelve sided dice that has ten sides marked play and two sides marked as fumbled or interception after every down or tackle to determine if player gets to continue to play or lose a turn to defensive player then becomes the offensive player; after offensive player scores a touchdown, offensive player can either score additional points by a field goal kick which means having a football flicked by offensive player holding the decorated rigid football on surface of end zone playing area by one finger with other finger to flick the football or held football in mid air instead of placing on said playing surface area flicking and propelling the said football between the field goal post positioned at the other end of end zone scoring one additional one point, whereas players has the option to make the field goal kick more challenging by placing a household fan blowing towards the field goal post whereas the fabric of the flag will show directions where the wind is being blown where the player flicking the said football will have guidance as player flicks the said decorated rigid football between the field goal post from one end of end zone to the other end zone where field goal post is positioned; offensive player has four attempts to score a end zone touchdown by the fourth down and if offensive player still has not score a touchdown, offensive player may punt the ball back to the defensive player which means give up turn of fifth attempt to score as the offensive player which will result in defensive player becoming the offensive player forcing the defensive player having to start the decorated magnet barriers behind the ten yard line of said playing surface, if offensive player decides to go for the final attempt to score a touchdown and fails at the fifth attempt, then the defensive player becoming the offensive player gets to start the play wherever the offensive player is last down or tackled and no need to start from behind the ten yard line; offensive player can also at the fifth attempt to kick a field goal instead of a regular touchdown scoring three points as appose to six points on a regular touchdown starting from one end zone to the other end zone of the defensive player; while kicking a field goal kick, defensive player has the option to use the game piece mesh net with handles faceguard whereas defensive player would hold the mesh net with handles in front of defensive players face sitting or standing behind the field goal post to observe whether the field goal kick is good or not flicked by offensive player; offensive player may do a two point conversion to score two additional points in addition to a touchdown by using the two point conversion box with a target hole with a decorated rigid football with elongated notch groove with rubber band to strap to be used as sling shot to aim at target hole from behind the fifty yard line of the playing surface area attempting to propel said rigid football in hand held sling shot fashion to get the rigid football to the targeted hole of the two point conversion box, two point conversion scoring object can only be used after a regular touchdown, in a case scenario where player 1 is seven points ahead of player 2 near the end of fourth quarter, player 2 being the offensive player needs a total of eight points to win the game as oppose to scoring only seven point with touchdown and field goal kick combined, to win the game after a touchdown player 2 can chose to execute a two point conversion play to score a total of two points on top of touchdown making it a eight point scoring game putting player 2 one point ahead of player 1 winning the game when game clock expires at the end of fourth quarter; objection of the game is for players to score as many touchdowns in combination with field goal kick or two point conversion within the four playing quarters playing under the pressure of the said time clock.
