Apparatus, method, and recording medium for creating content-document reproduction data
Abstract
In the slideshow which reproduces a content associated with comment information, the reproduction timing of the content can be controlled according to the reproduction timing of the comment information. In a reproduction table, the following are associated with each other: reproduction order; image-document combinations indicated by an image (or the identification information of the image, such as a JPEG file name) and a document (or the identification information of the document, such as a TXT file name); the number of characters in the document; and reproduction time of the image and the document identified by the identification information of the image and the document respectively. The greater the number of characters the document has, the longer the reproduction time the image associated with the document has. Not every image needs to be associated with the document. For example, basic reproduction time of 5 seconds is assigned to image No. 3.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A computer implemented method comprising:
determining, by a computer system, a first reading point in content during reading progress of a user based on information associated with the user; identifying, by the computer system, a first element in the content at the first reading point or after the first reading point; and displaying, by the computer system, a first image associated with the first element at a time when the reading progress of the user is determined to reach the first reading point.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the information associated with the user includes reading speed of the user.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the information associated with the user includes input provided by the user.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the input provided by the user is received by a touch panel.
5 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the input provided by the user is applied by a finger.
6 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the input provided by the user is applied by a stylus.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content includes text.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first element includes at least one of a word, a phrase, a clause, and a sentence.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first image portrays an aspect of the first element.
10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining a second reading point in the content during the reading progress of the user based on the information associated with the user, the second reading point occurring after the first reading point in the content; identifying a second element in the content at the second reading point or after the second reading point; and displaying a second image associated with the second element at a time when the reading progress of the user is determined to reach the second reading point.
11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising removing display of the first image.
12 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising adding the first image to a reproduction table.
13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising adding the second image to the reproduction table.
14 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising linking the first image with the first element after the first reading point coincides with at least a portion of the first element.
15 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
displaying the content; and applying visual effects to the first element when the first reading point coincides with the first element.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the visual effects include at least one of a color change, boldface, and underline.
17 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first reading point is a number of words from the beginning of a document.
18 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content includes text, and the first reading point is based on a sentence display starting time and a reading speed.
19 . A system comprising:
at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions configured to instruct the at least one processor to perform:
determining a first reading point in content during reading progress of a user based on information associated with the user;
identifying a first element in the content at the first reading point or after the first reading point; and
displaying a first image associated with the first element at a time when the reading progress of the user is determined to reach the first reading point.
20 . A non-transitory computer storage medium storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed, cause a computer system to perform a computer-implemented method comprising:
determining a first reading point in content during reading progress of a user based on information associated with the user; identifying a first element in the content at the first reading point or after the first reading point; and displaying a first image associated with the first element at a time when the reading progress of the user is determined to reach the first reading point.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
