Display control apparatus, display method, and computer program

Abstract

A display control apparatus includes a search unit for searching for a second content linked to a first content and a display control unit for controlling display of a search history of content search performed in accordance with one of a first image and a first character, each indicating the first content, one of a second image and a second character, each indicating the second content and link information linking the first content to the second content.

         13 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 a processor configured to:
 determine a link between two or more contents; 
 receive a request to search one of the two or more contents linked to another of the two or more contents; and 
 display a search history of a search performed on the one of the two or more contents linked to the other of the two or more contents in a timeline, wherein each content of the two or more contents comprises one or more images and metadata. 
   
     
     
         14 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the processor is configured to further display link information linking the one of the two or more contents to the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         15 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the processor is configured to further display the search history of the search in a horizontal arrangement. 
     
     
         16 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the processor is configured to further display thumbnail images of the one of the two or more contents and the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         17 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 16 , wherein the thumbnail images are arranged horizontally. 
     
     
         18 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 13 , wherein the processor is configured to further display an image indicating a link between the one of the two or more contents and the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         19 . The information processing apparatus of  claim 18 , wherein the image is a horizontal line. 
     
     
         20 . A computer implemented display method comprising:
 determining a link between two or more contents;   receiving a request to search one of the two or more contents linked to another of the two or more contents; and   controlling display of a search history of a search performed on the one of the two or more contents linked to the other of the two or more contents in a timeline, wherein each content of the two or more contents comprises one or more images and metadata.   
     
     
         21 . The computer-implemented display method of  claim 20 , further including displaying the search history of the search in a horizontal arrangement. 
     
     
         22 . The computer-implemented display method of  claim 20 , further comprising displaying link information linking the one of the two or more contents to the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         23 . The computer-implemented display method of  claim 20 , further comprising displaying thumbnail images of the one of the two or more contents and the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         24 . The computer-implemented display method of  claim 23 , wherein the thumbnail images are arranged horizontally. 
     
     
         25 . The computer-implemented display method of  claim 20 , further comprising displaying an image indicating a link between the one of the two or more contents and the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         26 . The computer-implemented display method of  claim 25 , wherein the image is a horizontal line. 
     
     
         27 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with instructions, that when executed by at least one processor, cause the processor to perform a display control method comprising:
 determining a link between two or more contents;   receiving a request to search one of the two or more contents linked to another of the two or more contents; and   controlling display of a search history of a search performed on the one of the two or more contents linked to the other of the two or more contents in a timeline, wherein each content of the two or more contents comprises one or more images and metadata.   
     
     
         28 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 27 , further comprising displaying link information linking the one of the two or more contents to the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         29 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 27 , further comprising displaying thumbnail images of the one of the two or more contents and the other of the two or more contents. 
     
     
         30 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of  claim 29 , wherein the thumbnail images are arranged horizontally.
