Abstract

A swing exerciser includes a base and a frame is pivotably connected to the base by a shaft. An exerciser such as a stationary bike is connected on the frame. A returning device includes a resilient bar which has a first end fixed to the base, and a second end fixed to the frame. The frame swings about the shaft and from a balanced position to an inclined position. The resilient bar is bent and the first and second ends of the resilient bar generate a returning force to pivot the frame from the inclined position to the balanced position.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A swing exerciser comprising:
a base; a frame pivotably connected to the base by a shaft, an exerciser connected on the frame, and a returning device having a resilient bar which has a first end and a second end located in opposite to the first end, the first end fixed to the base and the second end fixed to the frame, the frame swinging about the shaft and from a balanced position to an inclined position, the resilient bar being bent and the first and second ends of the resilient bar generating a returning force to pivot the frame from the inclined position to the balanced position.

2 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the base has a first sleeve and the frame has a second sleeve, the first and the second ends of the resilient bar are respectively inserted into the first and second sleeves.

3 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first end of the resilient bar is fixed to the first sleeve and the second end of the resilient bar is slidably inserted into the second sleeve.

4 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an axis of the resilient bar and an axis of the shaft are located on the same plane, an angle between 70 to 110 degrees is defined between the two respective axes.

5 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the exerciser is a stationary bike and has a wheel, a handle, a seat and a damping device, the wheel is connected with two cranks and each crank is connected with a pedal, two grips are respectively connected to two ends of the handle, the damping device provides damping force to the wheel.

6 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the shaft is located at an underside of the frame and extends horizontally, the grips are located at a front section of the frame and the wheel is located at a rear section of the frame, the resilient bar is located at the rear section of the frame, the resilient bar is located farer from the front section than the wheel, the grips, an axis of the wheel and the seat are located higher than the shaft, the first end of the resilient bar is located in flush with or lower than the shaft, a shortest distance from the second end of the resilient bar to the axis of the shaft is at least ½ of a shortest distance from the seat to the axis of the shaft.

7 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the resilient bar is made by carbon fibers.

8 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the resilient bar is made by carbon fibers and is a solid cylindrical bar.

9 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the resilient bar is made by glass fibers.

10 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the resilient bar is made by glass fibers and is a solid cylindrical bar.

         11 . A swing exerciser comprising:
a base; a frame pivotably connected to the base by a shaft, an exerciser connected on the frame, the exerciser being a stationary bike and having a wheel, a handle, a seat and a damping device, the wheel connected with two cranks and each crank connected with a pedal, two grips respectively connected to two ends of the handle, the damping device providing damping force to the wheel, and a returning device having a resilient bar which has a first end and a second end located in opposite to the first end, the first end fixed to the base and the second end fixed to the frame, the frame swinging about the shaft and from a balanced position to an inclined position, the resilient bar being bent and the first and second ends of the resilient bar generating a returning force to pivot the frame from the inclined position to the balanced position.

12 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the base has a first sleeve and the frame has a second sleeve, the first and the second ends of the resilient bar are respectively inserted into the first and second sleeves.

13 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the first end of the resilient bar is fixed to the first sleeve and the second end of the resilient bar is slidably inserted into the second sleeve.

14 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 11 , wherein an axis of the resilient bar and an axis of the shaft are located on the same plane, an angle between 70 to 110 degrees is defined between the two respective axes.

15 . The swing exerciser as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the shaft is located at an underside of the frame and extends horizontally, the grips are located at a front section of the frame and the wheel is located at a rear section of the frame, the resilient bar is located at the rear section of the frame, the resilient bar is located farer from the front section than the wheel, the grips, an axis of the wheel and the seat are located higher than the shaft, the first end of the resilient bar is located in flush with or lower than the shaft, a shortest distance from the second end of the resilient bar to the axis of the shaft is at least ½ of a shortest distance from the seat to the axis of the shaft.
