Progress bar is advertisement

Abstract

A progress bar for a multi media device, such as a television or a computer, can depict digital media streaming or otherwise where a progress bar operates during the media playback function. One embodiment of the present invention includes the progress bar as an advertisement including company logos. The progress bar is the advertisement and is operable to morph into various positions allowing the advertisement to develop during the playing of the video. Marketers promote their logo as the progress bar to increase brand exposure.

         21 . A progress bar for use with a streaming media device, comprising:
 a progress bar that is operable to be depicted on a media device; and   an indicator for showing status of playing streaming media on the media device, the indicator depicts the status of played and un-played media that is streaming on a media device;   the bar is a logo that represents a company advertising indicia, the logo includes at least one advertising indicia that is a component of the bar, the bar transitions into multiple advertising indicia on the media device.   
     
     
         22 . The progress bar for use with a streaming media device as claimed in  claim 21 , further comprising a sound component that is operable to play a marketer's jingle. 
     
     
         23 . The progress bar for use with a streaming media device as claimed in  claim 21 , further comprising a promotional feature that is operable for a consumer to order products by interacting with the bar. 
     
     
         24 . The progress bar for use with a streaming media device as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the streaming media is a video that is streamed from one of a website and a cable box. 
     
     
         25 . The progress bar for use with a streaming media device as claimed in  claim 21 , wherein the bar is operable to transition back to where the multiple advertising indicia become one logo. 
     
     
         26 . A progress bar for use with a streaming media device comprising:
 a display member that is operable to receive streaming media from a source; and   a progress bar that is operable to be depicted on the display member, the progress bar includes an indicator that represents the current status of play of uploaded media that is streamed on the display member, the indicator is an advertisement that includes on of a brand, symbol, indicia, icon or name.
