Career and employment services system and apparatus

Abstract

Systems, methods, distributed networks, and computer-readable media are provided that relate to recruiting and employment services. Background information associated with talent-capability attributes is received from talent. Job description information is received from employers. Prospective matches are identified between employers and talent, and employers and talent are given an opportunity to consent to exchange of talent contact information.

Having thus described the disclosed subject matter, what is claimed as new and desired to be secured by Letters Patent is: 
     
         1 . A method of learning data by a computer system having at least one computer comprising at least one processor and at least one storage medium within a computer network, the method comprising:
 receiving information from a user by the computer system;   determining by the computer system whether the same information has been received from a predetermined number of other users; and   making the determined information available to all users.   
     
     
         2 . The method as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the determined information is a skill. 
     
     
         3 . The method as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the determined information is the name of an educational institution. 
     
     
         4 . The method as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the determined information is the name of a trade union, trade association, professional association, or other voluntary association. 
     
     
         5 . The method as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the determined information is an employer's name.
