Abstract
Systems, methods, distributed networks, and computer-readable media are provided that relate to recruiting and employment services. Background information associated with talent-capability attributes is received from talent. Job description information is received from employers. Prospective matches are identified between employers and talent, and employers and talent are given an opportunity to consent to exchange of talent contact information.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedHaving thus described the disclosed subject matter, what is claimed as new and desired to be secured by Letters Patent is:
1 . A method of searching a plurality of job profiles including employment attributes by a computer system within a computer network, the computer system comprising at least one computer comprising at least one processor in communication with at least one storage medium, the method comprising:
receiving information for at least one job profile by the computer system, wherein the at least one job profile includes at least one of information classified according to a hierarchical industry classification system or information classified according to a hierarchical occupational classification system; storing the information as a job profile in a structured format on the at least one storage medium; receiving at least one search parameter by the computer system from a candidate; identifying at least one job profile by the computer system based on the at least one search parameter; and communicating to the candidate over the computer network the at least one identified job profile.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one search parameter includes at least one employment attribute selected by the candidate.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the at least one employment attribute of the job profile is a maximum compensation requirement not less than the search parameter specified by the candidate.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the job profiles includes an employer-specified threshold requirement.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the at least one search parameter includes a maximum compensation specified by the employer.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the maximum compensation requirement is confidential.
7 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising:
receiving information for at least one candidate by the computer system; storing the information as a candidate profile in a structured format on the at least one storage medium; comparing the at least one candidate profile with the at least one employer-specified threshold requirement of the identified job profile by the computer system; and determining by the computer system that the at least one candidate profile matches the at least one employer-specified threshold requirement.
8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the at least one candidate profile includes information classified according to at least one of: ( 1 ) an occupation classification system, and (ii) an industry classification system.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the occupation classification system is hierarchical.
10 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising:
receiving by the computer system from the candidate a request for an interview with the employer associated with the at least one matched job profile; and transmitting the interview request to the employer over the computer network.
11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising receiving from the employer over the computer network an indication regarding whether the employer accepts the interview request.
12 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising providing the candidate with an opportunity to modify the candidate profile if the threshold comparison indicates that the candidate profile does not match the at least one identified job profile.
13 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising providing the candidate with a list of job profiles whose respective employer-specified threshold requirements match the candidate's profile.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the list of job profiles is ordered by the degree of compatibility of the job profiles with the candidate's profile.
15 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
wherein the at least one search parameter includes a geographic location; and wherein the list of job profiles is ordered by geographic proximity to a geographic location search parameter.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
